Suit skills only affect the specific suit type when worn.

my issue is all of the racial assault suit skills give a shield recharge bonus and then a racial suit modifier as well, would the shield recharge bonus stack if i were to level up all assault suit skills for every race, go look at the skill card and it only lists one racial assault skill bonus and then an assault suit bonus that technically should apply to all assult suits

go look at the card for the skills you will see a shield recharge reta bonus that applies to assault suits then under that there is the actual racial skill bonus that should be the one that applies to the racial suit only.

A better skill to ask about the stacking is the scout lav skill bonuses will the turret speed and acceleration bonuses stack on any lav's u drive cause the scout lav skills do not specifically state it only applies to the racial scout lav's. just go look at the skill cards

I believe so bro, I'm a mini so I proto d, mini then I leveled in to the g racial because u get a scout suit bonus ether way for your profile damp so mini gives me 25% level 4 profiler damp give me 8% an two enhanced pd give me 40% an g1scout give me 5% so far that's 78% an my name doesn't show above my head. So if I go pd 5 that's two 25% I can fit my suit so that's 50+25+10 =damps-suit-skil, that's 85% plus if I get g3 that's 15% so that's 100damp. I'm working on it need another million sp tho

I'm no expert but I think you've gotten mixed up with how scanning precision and scanning profiles work and how profile dampening affects detection.

Profile dampening reduces your scan profile by a percentage - because this is done cumulatively, you will never get a zero scan profile. i.e. you don't add your dampening %s, you multiply them. So if you're getting 25% less, you multiply by 0.75. If you're then getting another 8%, you multiply that 0.75 x 0.92 = 0.69. Then another two 25% is 0.69 x 0.75 x 0.75 = 0.39.

So, (random number) if your scan profile starts at 25, you'll end up with a profile of around 10. You'll never be as invisible as you make out until we have cloaking equipment.

Besides, scanning profile and dampeners mean diddly squat when someone has line of sight on you.

edit - furthermore, the scout profile bonus for gallente suits does not apply to minmatar suits and vice versa; you only get the scout bonus for the suit specific to that skill.
