We basically got a confirmation that the pilot suit is going to be in next build from the E3 trailer. So, I'm going to just throw up some stats and such of how I think they should work, say there's no akward things about them (like vehicle modules on the suits or something like that). I'm only going to do Standard, however. ALso, I'm not going to do the CPU and PG, as I don't know a reasonable amount for them.
NOTE: All bonuses from the skill is for vehicles only.
Pilot G-I:
Armor- 80
shield- 50
HI- 1
LOW- 2
Sidearm- 1
Walking Speed- 5.5 m/s
Sprinting Speed- 6.8 m/s
Skill- Gives a 2-5% bonus to armor repairers, bonus to electronics modules (scanners, and other E-War modules), Hybrid bonus (ROF, damage, tracking, etc.), PG & CPU, armor resistance, plate speed reduction bonus per level ( must pick 3)
Pilot M-I:
Armor- 50
Shield- 70
HI- 2
LOW- 1
Sidearm- 1
Walking Speed- 5.7 m/s
Sprinting Speed- 7.0 m/s
Skill- Gives a 2-5% bouns to Projectile bonus (same as Hybrid), PG & CPU, Shield resistance, speed per level (must pick at least 3)
Pilot C-I:
Armor- 40
Shield- 90
HI- 3
LOW- 0
Sidearm- 1
Walking Speed- 5.4 m/s
Sprint Speed- 6.7 m/s
Skill- Gives a 2-5% bonus to overall shields, passive shield regen bonus, Missile bonus (same as hybrid), PG & CPU, Railgun (not hybrid) bonus (same as hybrid), Shield resistance bonus per level. (Must pick at least 3)
Pilot AK-I:
Armor- 100
Shield- 50
HI- 1
LOW- 1
Sidearm- 1
Walking Speed- 5.2 m/s
Sprinting Speed- 6.5 m/s
Skill- Gives a 2-5% bonus to overall armor, Laser bonus (same as Hybrid), Armor resistance, CPU & PG per level. (must pick at least 3)
Adjust as you please.
NOTE: THESE BONUSES ARE FOR VEHICLES ONLY.

Well I do have one concern about this. I find it extremely likely that the Pilot suit will be a light frame, which is fine. However it stands to reason that you would be encouraged to use the racial pilot suit that matches the vehicles you use for optimal bonus application. However we only have 2 light frames right now, so I'm curious to see how CCP will handle giving Caldari Bonuses for the Pilot suit. |

I'm not sure what to expect from pilot dropsuits, although I plan to use them.

If it's the suit that's giving the bonus, how do you fit the stuff in the fitting window? The vehicle fitting window won't be able to account for the dropsuit that you'll be piloting it with. |

The Caldari Variant should Receive a bonus to Hybrids due to the fact that Railguns and Blasters are the Same weapon type. Just give them A Range Bonus as opposed to a Damage bonus
Other then that, Nice Ideas. |

Good point.... Okay, if you have a pilot suit skilled up, then it should change how much CPU/PG any of your vehicles have automatically. But, if you don't have a pilot suit on when you throw it out, and it is past the normal amount, you can't throw it out. |

Well, Caldari never use blasters (which is why I find it funny that people have Caldari vehicles with blasters on them ), But really like Railguns, so I thought give them a specific bonus to Railguns. It should be a high bonus however, maybe even higher than 5%. |

Ok I am not a big vehicle user but how would you all feel about a role bonus on the suit for faster vehicle deployment/recall it would seem to me this could be useful and its unique.
So role bonus say deployment/recall speed 10% bonus
As for racial I am not sure what is needed but I prefer suit give unique bonuses not found on modules if possible(probalaly why I like the min. assault suit bonus)
And then have dropsuit modules that affect vehicle stats for the suit
Will add to this later..... |

Pilot suit is really synonymous with mechanized infantry. Lots of equipment, limited ammo, compact weapons and will have upgraded armor at the cost of dismounted mobility. Assuming we keep this crap frame system, they should be a heavy variant while the commando a light. Basically the opposite of what is planned. Anywho, here is what I would suggest as a "pilot suit" (bonuses affect both dropsuit and vehicle)
Heavy Frame - Pilot Xk.0 10% bonus to sidearm range/level
Ak.0 300/300 2/2/2/S/S/G Heat buildup -5%/level
Gk.0 125/375 1/3/3/S/G Sensor range +5%/level
Mk.0 275/175 3/1/3/S/G Equipment cooldown -5%/level
Ck.0 375/125 3/2/2/S/G Shield recharge +5%/level
Just spitballing here, but I see no value in a light frame pilot suit besides making vehicles even more expensive and still being useless out of them. |

Pilot suits won't need armor, as the wearer is safe inside of a vehicle. Plus, those bonuses are terrible for vehicles. Are you a pilot? |

If the pilot suit has no purpose outside of a vehicle, then just buff the tanks directly. And yeah, you could say I know a thing or two about vehicles. |

But wasting 3M+ SP more for something necessary to bring them up to snuff makes sense? |
