 What is the CPM stance on Pay to win items which keep popping up there dreaded heads in DUST?
 Is it intentional, or do CCP not know what items are in their own game?
 
 CCP used to be pretty quick to address the issues and fix them, but in this case they've been quiet for too long, so I'm starting to assume this is supposed to be this way

 I have no idea whether this is intentional or an oversight until we get a chance to have a conversation with the designer working on Grenades - but this is most certainly on the CPM's radar. We've been adamant that there needs to be an isk equivalent to all Aurum gear, and this includes comparable stats on the grenades.
 
 A few of us will go even further than that - Caz and I (at least) both abhor the contact grenades in general. They're cheesy, and remove the skill element inherent in proper cooking. I'd be fine with all grenades being on a timer, but if we must have contact varieties there needs to be parity between isk and aurum variants. We all agree on that much at least.

 What they did, was take the old Merc Pack and set most items in it to be purchasable.
 That they've gone from a rarity to commonplace ($20 per 50) is how you see them abused.
 This is most definitely an oversight. And the Thukker grenades are balanced as if the fused locus grenades were an ISK item.
 
 Try and search the forums for the debates between the 2 sec and the 5 sec grenades. I like the fused and the timed, for me it is tactical to switch between the two. But mostly because of the contrast from 0 and 5sec delay after hitting the ground.

 Now obviously Uprising has already arrived but the innate issue presented by AUR "Proto+" (rather than Proto 'light' that you can get into faster) goods still persists.
 
 P2W, and to some extent even the appearance of P2W is toxic and needs to be rigorously addressed by CCP.
