So the new commando suit gonna have 2 light weapon slots. I have been brainstorming wonderful combos.
PLC + MD
PLC + AR
MD + AR
AR + SHOTTY
SWARM +AR
PLC + SWARM
Vehicle drivers gonna cry. The tears will be tasty, seems this is CCP's "solution" to the LAV epidemic |

From what I've seen, those commando suits are glass cannons. Vehicle combat should be more than just stomp the gas pedal and mow people over. Tanks should need infantry to screen and good support gunners. Dropships...Dropships need a miracle that's all I can say. |

Though I would have thought that people would be more likely to use the SCR/ MD combo. That would be cool. If there was a decent Amarr option other than the SCR I would specc into them both.....Laser Rifle Im looking at you....get better or else! |

will its cpu be sufficcient fully loaded hp wise to fit swarms like that though ...i mean will it be able to fit a wykomi swarm adn a dovoulle ar....this looks to me like if you put proto weapons on onee your a glass cannon....just like tanks real expensive youll has massive dmg capabilities but ****** hp |

Before everyone completely freaks out, those suits will be far slower than any of the Medium Frames. Anyone who uses these will have to take a major speed penalty, which will make them easy prey for the lighter suits. |

Yesterday, the team I was on (lots of mics!) was losing to the point where we just said screw it and took out the vehicle quota worth of LAVs.
I saw a plasma cannon kill.
Another time that battle, something really weird happened; my LAV was blown up by another LAV's turret, but on death, my screen was black and white and had a slowly rotating model of a plasma cannon on it. |
