exactly....look at MAG. I wouldn't call that survival though.
But the only reason some people are still holding on to MAG is because the gameplay is so awesome and there isn't a replacement. Who's going to hold on to Dust when you are playing the same people every time you queue with these same broken mechanics? |

CCP, I'm trying but you guys are killing me out here. How are you guys going to keep up if you don't react to the community's pleas? BF4 is going to have a commander mode....where is ours? We are supposed to have all of these things at release but we still don't even have sights for our weapons.
I mean, seriously...what kind of fps shooter (AAA fps, at that) releases a game without sights?
Just ranting here...in a desperate plea for ccp to get their act together and fast.

if i wanted to play a repetitive fps game with next to no growth pay for dlc pay for the game pay for the monthly addons that i will one day throw away to pay for the next title then i would have started playing call of duty when cod 4 came out |

No I do think they are slow on getting content out but they do have a pretty small team working on Dust. They are currently working on like 4 different projects ATM. Eve, Dust, World of Darkness, and EVR. |

As it is, DUST is running at almost max of the PS3's 512 MB, and it's not looking like that cuz the game isn't optimized fully yet. Frame rate is still a huge problem and until CCP fixes that, they won't raise the player count cuz that uses more RAM.
If DUST reaches on PS4 then yea.
CCP isn't experienced in making a FPS and they chose arguably the most complicated system to work with... the PS3.

trying to figure out where i said it was impossible... i know of lolMAG.
Was it connected to a PC game?
Does it have destructible maps? (BF)
Was lolMAG made by people who never made a FPS before?
lolMAG was built on their own engine, not on the cookie cutter Unreal Engine. i can almost guarantee the budget was bigger on that game than what they are working with for DUST. |

well...that may be part of their problem. They are spreading themselves too thin and the quality of their product is suffering for it. But even so....they are prioritizing the wrong things in Dust. Uprising 1.2 should have an aiming fix..maybe it will but I didn't see it mentioned in the dev blog. Not to mention, that they are developing a habit of fixing things that aren't broken. And as a result we have gamebreaking annoyances like faulty aiming mechanic, murder taxis, etc. |

This. To me it feels like the developers have given up on this game and have moved to different projects. Just look at the patch notes and tell me if you think that is the work of a team of people for a month. I don't know if I am going to continue to buy Aurum because I don't have enough confidence to say that the game will be around long enough to enjoy it. The way it looks to me is that Dust will get the axe in six months if things don't improve. |

I'm not even going to rate it....I said "AAA" cause that's what they said at fanfest. A shooter with no AR sights and an aim assist mechanism that helps you to miss shouldn't be rated.

Well Im embarrased to show anyone dust who comes over. They will laugh and say cod this or bf3 that. So no real reason to defend the game anymore. But I still play in hopes for a better game. |
