the e3 presentation is not targeted towards the lurkers in General Discussion. it's for generating buzz in the larger gaming community. i guarantee you it will not contain information regarding our most pressing issues. no developer in the right mind would use their half hour at e3 to discuss game balance and address bugs. it's gonna be a mix of stuff you already know plus lofty stuff about future plans. if you're expecting e3 to cater to all your personal and immediate wants and desires, you're going to be disappointed. |

I have to agree with Terra here.
You guys are just getting your hopes up for no reason. CCP made no official announcement about what to expect anyways at E3. Besides, E3 is generally a expo designed for big-name companies to generate all the buzz while the indie companies like CCP put minor tidbits here and there. |

If you want good info, go read the dev blogs and watch the Fanfest 2013 videos posted on YouTube. You'll get far more information from those than at E3. |

All I'm saying is I'm getting pretty damn tired about "the future" because it can literally be anything. It's like judging an old RPG off of its intro video.
And I've read all the devblogs, and watched everything from FanFest '13

I think that you don't go to E3 more than once for the same game, unless you got something to show which is new.
If they show the trailer we have all seen yesterday and a 5 year plan without release dates, It will look ugly. They even copy pasted an old video part in that new trailer.

Seriously, if they just show some footage from 1.1 where aiming works, the MD isn't bugged, and mercs aren't getting stuck on the terrain, I'll call it a success. |

You can do a video of that right now by selecting the scenes you keep and the ones you don't. That is the problem. False advertising : yes, just like the nice PvE video on the E3insider page, under dust514. |
