Ahhh okay people. 
Sorry for the delay. The new update is up.
Between work, school, books, and getting sleep, I had to prioritize some things over others. As the semester continues, the pressure should ease.
When I get a chances, I will be putting together a Guide Review Panel to go through all the guide posted here and judge which ones are relevant, outdated, and helpful.
I know this sounds kind of picky, but at this point, the information will be changing and not everyone's guides will be up to date.
I hope to review the guides based on (But not limited to): Comprehensiveness, Helpfulness, Relevance, Grammatical Correctness, and a few more things that emphasize good writing.
I understand many of you may wonder why I put Grammatical correctness in there seeing as most people understand internet speech. My reason being that there are people in the Dust/Eve community who's first language may not be English. Good grammar and spelling will help those not used to English and those who use language translators or something.
Anyway, this is one of the things I hope to work on in the near future, and I hope to keep you all updated as to my progress.

Since I have written so many guides I decided to change their names to make them look like a series. I went with the prefix GÇ£Fox Guide:GÇ¥ because my first name is short and there are several guide series in real life that use the authorGÇÖs name to identify a series of guides.

Fox Guide: Marksman, Taking Sniper to the next level
Fox Guide: Swarm Launcher, Unleashing the Swarm
Fox Guide: SMG, Unlocking Versatility
Fox Guide: Remote Explosives, Unleash the Mad Bomber
I am currently working on Fox Guide: Frontline, a Medium Infantry manual. It is a much larger project than any of my other works, so I am not sure how long it will take to complete. So lets just say Soon (TM).

Delayed Sunday update.
In anticipation for 1.4, I will probably start deleting all guides 1.2 and older. If any one has a guide that they think is still relevant, please let me know and I will evaluate it.

Hey all. Super late Sunday update.
As promised though, I have started to delete outdated guides and clean up the display.
Let me know if there's anything that is severely outdated and needs to be reviewed sooner. I can throw that on my list of things to do.

You should add a notice that if authors go to update their guides and find them locked due to inactivity, they should go to dust514.com, then select GÇ£SupportGÇ¥ in the Community drop-down list, and submit a ticket asking to have their thread unlocked. Include a the URL for the thread in your ticket.
It took me a while to figure out what to do about my Guide thread being locked. There is nowhere on the forums to enter a petition, so I did not find this until someone directed me to the home page, which I had never seen before because I always Googled GÇ£DUST ForumGÇ¥ and get linked directly to the forum. Once I had put in a ticket the thread was unlocked within an hour. |

First, how is this post not stickied? It really should be.
Second, will you add my Amarr Logi slayer fitting guide? It includes a link to Driftward's skill planner and it's a low-SP optimized fitting (6.5 weeks without boosters), so it might be appropriate in the "for new players" section. That or, obviously, the fitting section.

Thanks for the update. However, you may want to be careful. You're not suppose to re-post closed threads. A better option would have been to petition the reopening of the original thread.

I updated my Sniper guide to include profile dampening, and destroying equipment.
Fox Guide: Sniping, The Role of the Sniper
I updated the GÇ£How to kill a HeavyGÇ¥ section of my Frontline Infantry guide to include mention of how crouching effects Heavies.
Fox Guide: Frontline, A Medium Frame Infantry Users Manual
I did not include the suggestion that if you have an Assault Rifle on a Medium Frame or Heavy Frame suit, and the Heavy is not squatting, you can simply stand still and shoot the Heavy in the Head. While this is the most effective way to kill a heavy currently, the Assault Rifle out damaging the HMG in close quarter combat does not achieve the balance that CCP intended for these two weapons, so I anticipate a change to this situation in the not too distant future. Adding a Sharp Shooter skill similar to the one for the SMG to reduction HMG dispersion would probably do the trick.
