But you're doing it wrong! You can't list multiple suggestions in one post because it confuses them.
I LOVE the concept of this game. A FPS with characters that are actually customizable past the point of "I played for 2 years and now I get a cloud of electricity when I kill somebody." is amazing. It has epic amounts of potential. I just wish the developers would get off their ass and actually fix something instead of saying "It's a known issue and we're working on it." If you were working on it, you would've fixed it before it was out of beta. Even something as HUGE as crashing your PS3 on the loading screen is just flat out ignored. If Halo or CoD servers had problems locking up, you can bet your back porch that they would be fixed overnight or as soon as possible. I would love to see this game with all the bugs worked out. I might actually consider spending some cash on it at that point, but why would I spend real money just to lose my gear when I get booted every other match? Is it really that hard to patch one thing at a time instead of trying to fix it all at once and re-effing up the game with a crappy patch? And PvE? That exists beyond blowing up turrets while they're shooting at you? If so, I have yet to find it.
CCP, PLEASE PLEASE do something to this game.
Note: I've seen this same thread over and over and commented on most of them but I think CCP has reached the point of "If I ignore it, it might go away." Either that, or they're just simply ignoring it because they're tired of hearing how bad they are at fixing bugs. |

I'll bump it again. I'd just like to see some acknowledge the fact that it's happening and explain a little bit about what they're doing. I see way too much "We're not having any problems on our end. Reset your router."
Most gamer nerds (no offense, I'm including myself in the category) know how to reset a damn modem and router. |

I'll bump it again. I think I'm just going to bump this thread every time the game locks up on me and I'm waiting for my PS3 to reboot. The reason I picked this thread is because the title pretty much sums it up. This game won't last if something major doesn't change. I mean I thought it was bad enough releasing it from beta while it's still missing half the game (PvE that was promised?), but to crash on a regular basis is just inexcusable. The only reason I even play at all is because I keep telling myself "Eve is solid. They just have to work the bugs out here and it'll be solid too." So far though it doesn't even look like there's been an attempt. I understand that it takes time, but let me say it again: If halo, CoD, or any other LEGITIMATE COMPANY had a problem involving their game crashing PS3's multiple times every single day... they would be working around the clock to get it fixed. They wouldn't be saying "Oh, sorry but we have a boat festival this weekend so stick it up your poopers"
Or even just an acknowledgement that there is a problem would be great instead of "No problems on our end. The hundreds of people reporting these problems must just be making it up."
Can we just get an aur boycott going on? |
