Ok i watched the video sorry not impressed it's more on the borderlands side than Dust. Also Activison is the publisher so expect to be charged out the arse for DLC. This game will not kill Dust it's a totally different type of game.
The only game that will kill Dust is a Mag 2 or if CCP stops supporting Dust like Zipper did with Mag. |

Ok first MAG 2, LMFAO! and second CCP won't stop supporting Dust it will just stop Dust but not because of Destiny but because no will care or play DUST anymore very SoonGäó.
You and both know that the mag community and the eve die hards make up for the bulk of this community. Only CCP themselves can kill Dust. As long CCP keeps improving the game gameplay wise, and keep adding content Dust will survive. |

See this old man is in no rush to get the PS4. I will let the initial buyers be the beta testers, and wait for the slimmer version of the PS4 to be released before i buy one. |

dust can't compete because it's not like destiny, eve is like destiny, WoW is like destiny, borderlands is like destiny, but dust is not. call dust a sand box all you want but it isn't. in its current iteration dust is a lobby based shooter, a big fancy lobby based shooter. that in itself isn't an inherently negative thing as far as lobby based shooters go I think it has some of the best features of any on the market (even if they aren't perfectly implemented).
you can't compare apples to oranges dust is a lobby based shooter, destiny is an open world mmo.
Destiny is more like bordelands than anything else for the little I've seen. With activision being the pub expect micro transactions, along with paid DLC and an online pass. People cry about aurum wait till they see how much they will have to pony up for Destiny. |
