Everyone's favorite Logistics is here to cover equipment (Because no one else does...)! :D
If you want to go into a Logistics, or just carry a piece of equipment, you need to kind of realize what role you want. Equipment is a very specialization-oriented piece of kit.
Example: Let's say you're a low-scale Logistics. You COULD carry a Nanohive, Repair Tool, and REs. But that would make you LESS efficient than if you used, say... A Nanohive, Repair Tool, and Nanite Injector.
Another thing, choose equipment based on your weapons. If you have a Mass Driver, you'd probably want a Nanohive, because of the lack of ammo in the Mass Driver. Or if you had a Shotgun, you might want an Active Scanner, to tell you if there's a pesky RedBerry behind that corner. It's all about knowing what situations you'll be in, and what will help. :)
EDIT: Oh look at me, 100 Likes. :) |

Could you comment on which pieces of equipment are more or less worthwhile to upgrade from militia to basic to advanced?
It honestly depends on what role you'd like to fulfill. I find that the Triage equipment is best to upgrade. This includes Nanohives, Repair Tools, and Nanite Injectors. Try to get the Gauged Nanohive, as it can allow you to place more than 1 at a time. Easy WP is simply to place 2 next to eachother, and when someone walks in, you get +20. 10 for each resupply.
REs, however, are not worth the trouble. A single RE can do well over enough damage to kill a heavy with a bunch of shielding and armor. Last time I heard from how much damage, it was in the 1000s. The radius also isn't bad where it is. So Standard is just fine for REs.
Repair Tools... I'd get some of those. I'm currently working on getting the 'Triage' Variant, as it can Repair 2 people at once.
Uplinks are a must. Don't get the Militia Uplinks, EVER. I can only run Militia Uplinks on my ADV Gallente Logistics, because it's the only one with enough CPU/PG to handle it, and still able to fit a couple modules on it. The Militia Uplink eats WAY to much CPU/PG. Way to much.
Active Scanners, I find, are just fine at Standard. I only use the Standard, and I can still scan around an entire army's worth of redberries. So, that's cool.
Did I miss anything? I can't remember all equipment right now. :P |
