I wouldn't doubt ccp is a little butt hurt with all our negative feedback. There was so much hype for the game, and during closed beta we were still supporting them on the understanding it would all fall into place by launch.. it hasn't. So many people were expecting them to deliver something new and remarkable that nothing could compete with, their idea was grand, execution very poor. Now that many have realized it never happened, and possibly won't happen... including ccp, they are probably so overwhelmed right now and have no clue as to where to begin a remedy for the mass congestion of persistent problems. No matter who you are, when tons of people expect a lot from you , and you promised you could deliver and end up far short.. it hurts. Sometimes I do feel bad for them for this reason, because I do like CCP and their vision. |

I'm sure the CCP employees, like the rest of us, can see useful threads and also see entitled whiny child threads. No one is hurting over those. Laughing maybe. A little disappointed in humanity maybe. No one but mommy gets butt hurt to solve little timmy's diaper problem.
Does not get rid of the fact that they never delivered a product they had claimed to be giving since 2009 |

You forget if it needs to be an (I think was) client update (the one where you update via the PS3 itself, not the launcher.) then they could have fixed everything within days, doesn't mean they can get the patch up in that time, it takes weeks-months to be able to launch a patch, not to mention I recall reading it costs $40K per patch, so you can't just launch patch after patch, and is probably why they space them out as much as they do, to get as much stuff out at once. No point on releasing a patch for every single fix individually.
40k a patch, dayumm. ccp going to go broke fixing this heh |
