Just cause some may complain about game, doesn't mean they are still playing it. The game play is a chore sometimes. and tho I'm a constant here on the forums. Hi ladies. My actual gaming has been reduced a lot. I'll be lucky to force myself to play 8 matches a day.
I am lucky to force myself to play one match a month, does that give you a hint? |

I wonder why...
- Lack of Developer Communication?
- Lack on non-broken gameplay?
-Making the game feel like a job?
-Lack of balance for a VERY long time?
-Lack of a good training mode?
Any of these, anyone have any other reasons?
(And please, don't come out with the "It's Monday" excuse, all American schools hit summer break last week, so if nothing else, I would expect 6k minors playing a GOOD game, If this were one.) The low numbers can be attributed one reason; that the SP/leveling system allows carried old players to stomp on new players. No one wants to play a game like that so they try it out and they leave. Funny how me trying different gameplay with multipple alts don't have THAT much issues with playing against high SP players. Is it because some players are too comforted into handholding? Personally I find playing against seasoned vets fun.
What you play 5 or 10 matches a week on your 2 million SP alt?
oooooh.
Well if we are going to delve into anecdotal evidence lets talk about all the contacts i made in the fist month of play who do not play now...and how they all complained that they were sick of getting face stomped. Or lets look at all the players who have joined my corp (we have a pretty open recruitment policy) in the past month who all seem to leave and all express frustration of getting face stomped. I also know i only have spent only 2.3 million SP on my main and 1 million SP on my alt and i cap on both each week (about 80 matches) and i know the biggest frustration i have is when i know i beat someone (i hit them first i hit them more, cause more damage and take less damage) yet i loose the duel because they are being carried and i am not. |

We can break it down then.
The vast majority of gamers don't visit forums. They simply play the games.
Of the gamers that do visit forums, some post and some don't. |

All I know is that I see some of the same players playing...and I play at various times throughout the day. Maybe after another update more people will try it out? Regardless, many of my friends have put the game down and moved on. |

- Total negative forum bombardment buy whiney kids with no patience who don't realize they do this game no favors with constantly flooding the public forum with needless threads about how bad the game is yet still play the game and still feel the need to convince others how bad it REALLY is .
Further idiot. Most kids/minors don't bother with voicing their opinions 'cept on the new social media stuff, if even that. This game is mainly spoken about by the people that want to see it thrive, and are feeling more ass sore that they even bothered with it from all of the support and information CCP decides to deliver to us. Do you know more about what's been going on? hm? hm? If so, please share with the 5% under 18 peeps on here as well as the rest of the community. K thanks. |

/me thinks all of your recent "save the noobie" postings are just selfish wants to make the game easier for yourself.
I came back at uprising launch with barely any SP, am outclassed by a lot, but have found a way to adapt and thoroughly enjoy blowing up others proto suits. It's not impossible or hard if they are bad players. However, there are people that have been playing for 6 months and their skill level + sp makes them very hard to overtake... that's life though... this game isnt for everyone the sooner people start to accept that and move on the quicker the forums become less crowded.
This game will cater to people that want meaningful experiences, choices that have consequences, and not to the people that want to be the omg i should has won that duel but he is (insert e-peen saving excuse)....
I'm sure you've heard this a few times, HTFU. Dust/EVE arent for the faint of heart. It's ok if it's not for you, Dust will never have the same numbers as CoD/Bf4, but it will establish its niche and have very strong loyalists. The game will do fine. |

^Thanks oh-so-valiant gamer that will help to fund/keep this game around. Life's tough? Get some tissues. A game that blows off it's clientele won't survive long enough for you to 'enjoy' it. I'd like to see you single-handedly pay for this game to last more than 6 months down the road. So much for the seven year plan they mapped out.... Tsk tsk. |

Honestly, this. This game isn't good by any stretch. My skill has nothing to do with it, I can pull the trigger as much as I want and the fully fitted proto suit won't go down. No one wants to stick around for that. People will just leave. If you honestly think it will keep a niche well...I guess the same 12 people, playing the same boring game modes, with the same broken gameplay, and the same disappointing PC is considered niche.

Oh I understand....I even find myself on less and less now. Like I said, I can't speak for other people but I do see a lot of the same players...m |
