I was browsing the E3 site and found some links to Warframe. I thought it was gonna be PC exclusive so I didn't pay it any mind but then I saw that it will also launch on Ps4, so I went video hunting and I found this. GamePlay
Things I noticed is that it doesnt look buggy, at all. I noticed similarities to DUST, warframes are something akin to fittings. It is F2P so there is a market BPOs can be bought with ingame credits, and they are called BPOs. There is a starmap etc. What I noticed that really caught my eye is there is a respec feature, dual wielding, and no issues with hit detection.
This is what I was hoping DUST would be. |

Yeah Warframe is a good game but its repetitive. Also Warframe isn't PvP, unless they added that so of course their won't be issues with hit detection and its on a better hardware as well. |

There's 1v1 dueling via the clan dojo system now.
And there's no real "BPO" item, it's just many items can be purchased with real money, but every one of those items can also be purchased via in-game money or you can purchase/find their blueprints, which just means you have to spend additional credits/resources/time constructing it. Literally the only things you have to spend real money on are cosmetics (some of which are offered for free occasionally like holiday color packs and weapon skins via their alert system) and additional frame/weapon slots (which you can buy some of the latter with your small amount of starting platinum). |

This sounds to good to be true. I always thought that game would be more fun with PvP |

Watch the vid. There is a rhino BPO for 38k credits on the market. |

TL;DR
I saw a game, it looked shiney, I've not played it, it's better than DUST514.

Warframe looks interesting, but I honestly don't see much similarity to DUST. It's co-op, not competitive as far as I know.
Blacklight: Retribution on the other hand, that looks exactly like what I expected gameplay of DUST to be like. Customisable, fun, and futuristic. Oh, and it's free, too. |

I've been playing Warframe for months. I know exactly how it all works. You either buy the suit for platinum or you buy the blueprint for the suit with credits, which you then have to construct from components (which includes farming for 3 other blueprints which have to be constructed when it comes to building a suit the free way). I'm just saying it's not analogous to the BPO kind of idea because everything is infinite use.
That video is old enough, though, that the skill system shown is very different from what it is now. |

That video is old enough, though, that the skill system shown is very different from what it is now. Edit: This is what it takes to make that Rhino without spending real money: http://i.imgur.com/YCIEoS5.jpgThe top is the blueprint you saw for what's 35k credits now. The bottom 3 are blueprints dropped from one of the bosses. Build the bottom 3, then combine them with the purchased blueprint, then you have the exact same item as someone who bought it with real money. Ooooo, boss drops and crafting? I like it even more. Is it as good as DUST or as good as I think it is? |

Way better than Dust in my opinion. It's essentially a third person shooter dungeon crawler. The best thing to compare it to, if you've played it, is Mass Effect 3's co-op multiplayer, except there's a lot more exploration and it's pretty much better in every way. |
