So, right now, like how EVE used to be, you can have multiple characters per account, with only one getting passive SP. The difference? This game is free, creating PSN accounts is also free, so people who want to can just create as many characters as they want and get passive SP on them.
So, why not just remove this limitation, make all Dust characters on each account get passive SP, while passive boosters might need a little tweaking to make sure each character needs to inject their own passive booster to get the bonus to avoid unintended loopholes.
There are no drawbacks to this that I can see, other than making it easier for people to do what they can already do. |

Yeah, no need to make it more difficult for us. Although some people use a different PSN for shenanigans. |

Passive SP for all 3 characters per account. DO IT CCP! There is no logical reason not to. |

Yes, I like this. I do not know why my alts should suffer because I built them a long time ago before passive SP was only available for one character. |

I don't see them doing it, if only because the Passive booster they sell has that listed "bonus" of giving people without Passive SP active a slight SP gain.
It would be cool if they did this though... then gave us the retroactive passive SP from when those characters were created? Bam.. months of passive SP instantly. |

They had Passive SP on all characters back in Beta. It's more fair now becase you have to work your alts while 1 builds up. If all characters got Passive SP then everyone could spec into whatever they wanted with just having their alts fermenting SP without you doing any work.

I'm kind of iffy on this.
In Eve Online, the number of accounts you have are limited by the size of your bank account.
In DUST, the number of accounts you have are limited by the number of email accounts you can imagine. |

You might have a point, but what OP seems to be saying is that rather than creating alts on the same account, it's possible to just create a whole new PSN account and create your alt there, so all your "alts" are the "main" of their account and all accrue SP over time. So it could probably be argued (by someone much smarter than me) that it's actually less fair now, because people creating alts the way they're intended to be created are losing out on the SP gain enjoyed by people who circumvent the system. |

I wouldn't bring fairness into the discussion, but yes that is basicly what I am saying, you don't even need a real email account to create a PSN account, and even if you did you can create any number of free email accounts. You can create as many 'main' characters as you want to using different PSN accounts, there is no real cost.
Even in EVE now you can buy plex to have more than one character get SP on the same account. Or just pay for two or more active accounts to get more SP gain.
People can all ready get as much passive SP as they want in Dust for free, just change it so you can have more than one character getting passive for each account. |

I'll sign. My little Amarr alt was supposed to be my main by now, but hasn't been played in months because I don't want to walk away from 8mil SP.
