I'm still learning assault rifles since I've avoided them for so long, but I've been actually forcing myself to practice with this thing....it's a freaking monster if your aim is good. Those triple headshots on stationary targets are so sexy, and the little extra range plus zoom is glorious (terrible scope though, basic green? boooooooooooooooooooring) With two complex damage mods (heavy) this thing puts out some serious hurt, it's just pretty demanding on your aim. I find myself starting to adjust to this, taking more time to try and get those headshots.
This thing must be terrifying with a mouse

That they are, but light damage mods are for light weapons

I'm in the same boat as you. I REALLY didn't want to become an AR user but my MD got nerfed and now I need something I can actually use in PC...
So I'm trying to learn the Burst and standard. The Breach needs a buff. |

Yessum.
I forget the prerequisites for them, but just max out the skills that give you damage mods, and you can choose between boosting heavy, light, or sidearm damage. You can even mix and match

The breach needs range, or more damage for its lack of range :/ It was the God rifle way back in the day, but it took a serious beating from the nerf hammer and was kind of left hemorrhaging blood.

As a former shotgun scout, those were my favorite heavies to kill; so easy to bait out those bursts
And as a former HMG heavy, I can firmly say both HMG variants don't stack up to the standard, though the burst can be scary in the right hands at the right times |

I see the confusion, it's a problem with my wording. I'll edit it. I meant to say I use two complex mods because I'm a heavy, not that I use two heavy damage mods. |

I got a bunch of the proto bursts , have not tried using one for a couple builds now. Maybe I will try out them later. Earned from salvage, no way I'm paying 75k each for a gun. |

Pfft, PC already rakes in good cash if your corp does a lot of that, or if you help out others in their matches.
Plus, once the markets open up and people start selling and scamming...you'll see a LOT of prototype gear. If I hadn't wasted an obscene amount of ISK on dropships in such a short time, I would actually be sitting on a couple thousand of my proto suits, and I'd just proto stomp all day because lolISK

Not a clue, but I feel bad for them.
I probably **** off my fellow pilots anyways. Last night I took out a Loldari Assault DS by punching the afterburners on my Gorgon and slamming head first into his side
I will also upload the video of me trying to kill him right before. He was right next to the ground, and I did sort of a dive bomb at him. I misjudged by about a foot, and smashed into the ground beside him >_< |

lol, I think I may have seen that last night. or it was somebody else doing nearly the exact thing heh. Seen blue dropship chasing him for awhile, miss on one occasion and nearly blew up hitting the ground but somehow got back up and repaired in time. then 2 minutes later scored a direct hit with nose of dropship killing both. |

Tried it, but I found the scope an unnecessary liability because of the **** poor range. That gun is just begging for a Reflex type sight. |

What's wrong with the range? It's above the standard and beneath the TAC, it feels perfect to me. Add in falloff and a cooler / more useful scope....unf. |
