CCP doesn't owe you jack ****. Downtimes happen. The only possible thing I can think of is those who missed out on SP boosters because of downtime, but other than that they owe us nothing. |

I'm just pointing out another instance of them saying one thing and doing another.
Patience is a virtue. Besides I think they're on holiday now. |

Its been less than a week since they mentioned compensation. They've been focused on securing stability of the servers more than appeasing the whiners. They're doing the correct thing in this situation. |

Unfortunately recent events regarding live issues in both DUST and EVE have forced us to direct key resources towards other tasks, however we remain committed to delivering both Skill Respecs and AUR Account Resets as promised.
So server downtime was caused by a DDoS attack, which is likely the "recent events" mentioned in the second post. Which means that they are working on that problem, hence "server stability". One would then also conclude that since they do not have time to offer respecs yet, an offer made before the 'compensation', that said compensation will arrive at a later date.
tl;dr, they have better **** to work on right now. Plus they're on holiday from the 10th to the 12th, because human beings need a break sometimes. |
