Agreed. It could be a stationary target hacking an objective (or anything) and sometimes I can hit him relentlessly with charged hits as well as slashes to zero joy. I get indications of a hit, but the prey takes no damage. IT really sucks when, after the fifth or so attempt, the dude finally figures out there's an annoying gnat buzzing in his ear, turns around, and blasts me. I'm a bit wiser now, tho. After the first bunk hit i bust out my sub.
Also, the field of view is atrocious. Is it 4:3 or what? The hit detection bugs are exacerbated by the fact it's so easy to lose track of your target while engaged in a dance because after you land a faux hit you have to readjust to a moving target with a very gimped FOV. I wouldn't drive a car IRL if that was the FOV I was capable of experiencing much less go into battle with a knife.

Of course they do, but the consequences of your knife not hitting repeatedly basically insures yoru death if you don't have the discipline to call it and find someone else.
With a gun it is a lot more forgiving |

I had countless encounters where i was following a clueless opponent over what seemed half the map, while slashing at him again and again, seeing that shieldflash without results, until he finally decides to stand still long enough for me to actually hit him.

When I'm sprinting after the enemy, first I jump, then I charge knives while in air, then I unleash the knives once I practically land on his back and that works most of the time unless he suddenly stops or changes direction.
That works sometimes. but sometimes you score a hit and they don't take damage even doing that.
FWIW, I find if you twist as you jump and time it so you land to their right or left side facing them and release a charged hit you will have a better chance to follow up slash/defend yourself with them still in your sights. because if you didn't kill them they definitely know you are there and will proceed to go apeshitty on you. With any luck they will stop still and start turning around to find you leaving you open to slash them to pieces. |

you should swap that.. run ishnoks on your L slot and your sub by on your S slot.
it will make more sense when you run with it for a bit.. :)
