I contacted support about this, but despite them telling me there is no bug, I strongly believe there is.
This is what the Planetary Conquest wiki has to say regarding loot:
Quote:At the end of a corporation battle each side is given loot based on what the other side lost during the battle. Yes, this does also include Aurum equipment. There are two steps to this. The first step is figuring out what loot is lost and what loot is kept. The default drop chance of an item is 50%. The drop chance is also applied per item, not per stack of items. After figuring out what survives the fight it is distributed to the teams. Corporation A will receive loot based on what Corporation B lost, and Corporation B will receive loot based on what Corporation A lost. The loot is then divided among the team members who were in the match for more than 60 seconds and based on how long they have been in the fight. What items each person gets is randomized. Kills, deaths, and war points are all ignored and the distribution is based purely on how long the members were in the match. People that came and left the match will get loot so long as they were in the match for more than 60 seconds. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Planetary_Conquest#Loot_drop
So basically your team should on average get 50% of everything the other team loses in a match (excluding any BPOs according to support). Since there's a 50% drop chance on every single item, your team could end up with more or less than 50% in some matches, but on average it will be 50%.
Lets use some numbers. If everyone on a team uses 10 items on their fittings (this might even be a low number, as I for example use closer to 15 items on my fittings) and their team dies 100 times in total, that's 1000 lost items in total. On average the other team would then get 500 items, which would be distritubed evenly to the 16 players on the team (if all those 16 players were in the match from the start). Each player would in this example then get about 31 items each.
Now, support did say that BPOs aren't dropped as loot in any way, but as PC matches are highly competitive and everyone is using Prototype gear I find it highly unlikely that many BPOs would be used at all, since they are Militia or Standard gear.
So according to my example above a player should on average receive about 30 items for a match, yet I or anyone else I've talked with have never received more than 5-10 items in a match. Even in matches where we cloned the other team by killing all of their 150 clones we have never received more than about 10 items, even though we should've received something like 45 items for such a match (150 deaths * 10 items per fitting / 2 / 16 = about 47 items to each player). |

The end of match screen currently will only show you a maximum of 5 items but you will actually get far more than that. There is a fix coming in Uprising 1.2 for the way this gets reported so you should hopefully see all the salvage you get soon. That's good if it's true we actually get the right amount of items.
The fix is also good so that we can see everything we get, so that we also know for sure we get the right amount of loot.
Thanks for the update!
