I know some of these may have already been said but all of them would, in my opinion, make the game better than the great game it already is.
1. Fully/Moderately destructible environment - I know that this is probably not going to come any time soon, and that it may not ever, but we can dream. 2. A major scale game mode with games that can take long periods of time with more people than the large matches we have now over areas three to four times the size. 3. A way to respec - even at the cost of ISK, we would like to be able to respec points. Maybe a system where you pay a certain amount of ISK per skill point refunded to you. 4. More vehicle classes, such as an assault arial vehicle that can be used as a bomber or something like that. The dropships now have almost no attack ability other than dropping troops in. 5. Merc battles in space. The ability to have battles on ships attacking each other in space involving eve online players. Almost like the old space battles in battlefront 2 if anyone remembers that game, where eve players or dust players using dropships can move players between the attacking ships. An antigravity physics system would allow fighting on top of the ship and in space. If resources were really focused, even the ability for mercs to dive from these space battles onto the planets below and continue fighting. 6. More off map support such as the orbital strike - since eve players can make the orbital strike more effective, why not add a way for eve players do directly assault the battlefield when an allied player calls them to attack? Ships with corp members could help them when assaulting a planet. 7. More in game commands; I would like to be able to tell my teammates where to attack. Not like the squad leaders commands, more like a way of directing allies, where anyone can suggest a target or ask for help, but without adding extra wp for orders followed like the squad commands.
I think all these would make the game slightly better, even though the game is pretty awesome already. I would love some feedback on what you think of these ideas, or any mistakes I may have made in formulating them. Thanks. |

1. Yes, oh god yes. I want this. Imagine using a railgun to punch a hole in a wall to attack a compund. It'd be a game changer for tactics.
2. It'd be cool to have a battle that lasts a long time, I'd even go so far as to have some persistent warzones that last until utter and total victory. be it hours or days, with both sides having to bring in replacements.
3. It sounds cool, but a respec would ultimately hurt the game as everyone would always switch to the fit of the month without a single concern and there would be much less variation on the field. Even though I'm sure I'll want a respec in the future I'm going to have to disagree for the good of the game
4. I want amarr vehicles, specifically an APC. give me a gold-plated troop transport.
5. this sounds cool. More locations are never a bad thing.
6. I'm not sure I get what you mean. Are you talking about calling in an OB from a corp/alliance mate at will?
7. Until we get the ability to form up as a team I'd like it if squad objectives were visible in some way to the blues on the same team. It'd make cross squad communication a bit easier. |

Talos, thanks for the feedback, and by number 6 I just mean a variety of different types of off map support other than an orbital strike. I agree I could have worded that better. And I read the rules and kind of misinterpreted them... I just reread them and understand. I though It just meant that if you are posting one idea to make sure it has not already been said. I do apologize though. |
