I'm pretty sure that's an ancient version of the Assault Rifle. It may be the Rail Rifle (Caldari Design) however and will be implemented at a later date, hopefully Autumn Expansion.
That said, a lot of things need graphical updates in this game. The graphics are "Okay." right now but I expect a lot more from CCP. |

Like I said, I was "pretty sure" that it was an ancient version of the AR. That said I didn't know we had a visual concept of the rail rifle, that looks pretty nice. Why isn't this stuff on the wiki? Everyone has these images of things that aren't in the game yet and I've no idea where they're getting it from. |

To OP: They'll not change the Sniper Rifle look, as it is a Caldari weapon. If you look at any Caldari technology in EVE or DUST, you'll start to see a pattern: They like boxes. A rounded out Sniper Rifle will be the Gallente SR. :)
Turns out you didn't read my post completely either.
Anyway, Devs have made no indication that a Gallente Plasma sniper is on the way. Doesn't fit with EVE much either. |
