Why do i have to keep looking over my shoulder every time i cross a piece of the battlefield to not get hit by a car, with engines that make no noise. Then you buff Militia LAVs aswell, have you played this game the last month CCP? Its getting a bit ******** its more a driving game then a shooter at the moment.
I understand LAVs are an important part of the game and should not be removed. However why do they have more health and shields then a Tank? Why did you buff Militia Jeeps, what was the incentive behind that decision? Why is it so easy to stay in a Jeep the entire match without fear of getting blown up.
^^ this was his argument, and this is mine vv.
We do not have more shields or armor than a tank. A charybdis with nothing on it has less shields than a sica with nothing on it, so idk where you got that from. A Charybdis is the only thing in dust514 that heals shields via another player, so it is extremely helpful, so my corp says.
CCP doesn't want this game to have vehicles like in bf3 that die in one shot. I didn't like before I specced into lavs worrying about getting 1 shotted by a forge gun or swarm launcher or av. I think it's great the militia lavs got a buff.
--- Please don't base your post on because you like the certain person or you're in the same corp, for me too. |

Also, if i'm going too slow, the enemy will get moved by my lav but their health will stay the same, shouldn't pushing ppl with a lav lower their health? |

Crash Monster wrote:It might be nice if there wasn't always so much LAV killing. I mean, if we look back at real battlefields in the past it wasn't all about people driving jeeps through enemy lines and running over all the officers.
It's easier to be aware, find cover, and shoot the crap out of the vehicle (even with several infantry weapons) until either it, the driver, or both are dead than the game conveys.
Have the LAVs take damage when they hit a pedestrian. I can't run down cattle with my car and expect to be able to drive to the next farm after I finish off Bessie's herd.
So, I'm talking about the B word I suppose.
Sometimes when I run someone over, it actually does do dmg to me. One time in chromo, I ran someone over going as fast as I could and got stuck on a structure. |

Also, lavs don't get any points for healing infantry/vehicles, only by running people over or your turret dude kills someone. And it is somewhat difficult to get my built in infantry shield transporter to lock onto a teammate. I should get points for that. |

Another bug, if I die or anyone in my lav dies out of my the LAV, when they respawn, they lav is invisible to them, and I can lose my lav. |
