It does... I know because i already done it. A power shot with two short burst, completely drops the shields of any Class, Proto or not, then you can rip their armor with a SMG. |

This is where having a sidearm is important -- creates a lot of versatility in being able to have weapons that cater to certain types of tanking. The scrampler + smg or scrambler + flaylock combo is beginning to emerge as a strong combo.
How long is going to take, for people to start to QQ about OP combos... ? any bets ? |

What allot people don't understand, is that the Caldari suit is not longer the logical choice for an assault class. The SCR has make Shield tanking a dangerous thing to do, and i personally found enough unbalance issues in the Caldari medium suit, to start thinking about the Minitar medium suit as a better choice. |

Like you say... "Speed". Armor tanking with a Caldari suit is illogical, and when people starts to use the SCR more, shield tanking is going to be unrealistic.
Let me clarify... "Speed" tanking is going to be the best direction for a assault class to go to.  |

I have to say but will a Minmatar logi be able to go faster because of increased low slots? Most logical thing I've heard.
I was talking more about the Medium frame, not the Logi. But... remember that the Minmatar racial variant have bonuses to shield recharge, and armor repair. Anyway...will see what happens, i have a project for when i get my respec, i'll let you know how it goes.. or maybe not if it goes to well. |

Is the best close to mid range weapon.. with the current weapons range. You see.. CCP nerfed the range of all the weapons to MID range. Only the sniper rifle is actually LONG range. |
