What does this tell you? Basically caldari logis are heavies with way smaller hit boxes that can use 3 equipments and can turn quicker. But surely the HMG makes up for it but it has -lower range -more dispersion -less DPS +bigger clip ...than scrambler rifle. But the scrambler has over heat. So does the HMG. Not calling for another nerf logis should be beefy to survive but as much as a heavy? Keep logis the same but make the heavy class true heavies with resistance to small arms and more base HP ...or just give us smaller hit boxes with 3 equipment slots to balance.
Gotta love that light scrambler rifle that anyone can use. Again not calling for a nerf but can the heavy slot mean something,(at least same dps!) if heavies do have to give up 3 equipment slots, have a larger hit box, and turn slower for identical stats make the heavy weapon slot worth something more if we have to give up the above. (Fore gun AV is good but HMG AP is obviously lacking)

Lol maybe I should practice with it, those players that can use it like that are few and far between. Wish I was good with that thing. |

Yeah but I'd hate to see true logi bros reduced to SMG, maybe if MD was included to sidearm for logis only. Cause if you get knocked down and they can't kill the guy who did it or at least back him up (MD) you stay down. But if you never die you don't have to worry about I guess . |

Ignatius Crumwald wrote:Way back in the Replication build, tears of Waaaaah! came over those who faced off with a heavy in their loludied 10 meter range area.
Back then it seemed justifiable that they had no equipment slot and very limited High/Low slots. But we still thought of many ways to further balance the heavy/HMG considering the HMG dominance in close quarters. - Lower turn speed, lower damage, higher dispersion, less health, faster heatbuild-up. All of these ideas were possible fixes for the perceived dominance of the heavy suit.
Then, in E3 built we found that they had implemented EVERY SINGLE ONE of those debuffs. Since then they have only piled those debuffs higher and higher and the heavy falls farther and farther behind until it is now one of the single most boring classes to play in all of vidyagaeming..
Wow didn't even know there was a republican build. Well explains a lot I started in the final days of chromosome. |

Well the reason I did it this way was to get everything the same I could speed, HP, shield regen, etc thus allowing to focus on differences HMG, turning speed, hit box and lack of equipment someone could for all intents and purposes play a heavy with logi capabilities while offering no down sides other than a lack of a sidearm slot. |

Plenty of top players have chosen other suits besides the caldari logi, some imps respec'd out of it because the lack of side arm makes it tough, especially if you want to snipe or run with a weapon with low ammo.
Actually in proposed set up said caldari logi still has 502 armor just 4 less than a heavy. Which by most accounts still puts it at higher tiers of HP. Hell they will still have as much HP as a fully tanked scout. |

If you prefer most were using duvolle tar with its higher dps to the scrambler rifles higher damage per clip, both are intended AP weapons. |

Gallante/Amarr suits shouldn't have shield recharge bonuses. Caldari suits shouldn't have armor repair bonuses.
They need to either make the generic bonuses more race neutral, or just have 2 racial bonuses for each suit type.
Personally I would do something like this
Generic logi bonus= repairers (the kind you use on other players) and nanohives are 10% more effective per level.
Generic assault bonus= light arms do 3% more damage per level
Scout bonus is fine. They just need a bit more health, but not through a bonus.
Agreed +1 especially on assaults they are here to kill |

Well I guess after countering all your points you are reduced to name calling in act of sheer desperation and I agree with the counter philosophy but only that caldari logi have a sheer tactical advantage over the current heavy, in proposed load out same speed, HP, shield regen, armor rep, but better turning speed, smaller hit box and the ability to use equipment . Again for medium range I'd go for scrambler or duvolle tar but since you did not define medium range I will have to guess on exact distances . |

If you prefer most were using duvolle tar with its higher dps to the scrambler rifles higher damage per clip, both are intended AP weapons. Your an idiot clearly, most people always gravitate to AR's in EVERY shooter. The AR's where well known before scrambler rifles were implemented, now that AR's are completely trash via nerds, if given a respec almost everyone would switch over to scrambler rifles, just wait another month or so and the scrambler will see a nerf just like the AR's.... tac ar was roughly 75.8 per bullet with 30 clip=2274 per clip assault was 35.8 or so x's 60 = 2148 Consider the fact full auto is superior in a game with bad hit detection and frame rate... I dont know the exact numbers.... But obviously you guys are bad players, that need some excuse to fall on, it doesn't really matter though other dev's have a backbone unlike CCP, so enjoy molding this game into **** while you can.
Again to counter another point only the tar have been recently nerfed the full auto ARs which you claim supremacy have been untouched. SCR 3586 damage per clip again cementing that Damage per clip is not clear cut better than dps. I agree with iffy hit detection but I cannot fairly calculate an efficiency value on weapons due to the hit detection being random thus I did not bring it to point. |

Not trying to spark conflict but in proposed load out said caldari logi still retains 500+armor and can be pushed further with the use of more complex plates. I merely did it this way for speeds sake you could if wishing only to armor tank attain 617 armor which I believe for medium suit armor tanking is still impressive. This again brings up the point where armor tanking is still not as effective as shield tanking. If you would what is your proposed load out against imbalance issues with Minmatar |

I do enjoy getting a rambling egomaniac to try to make points one after another only to have them countered, then seeing said egomaniac get more and more frustrated through his syntax and diction to the point where he says you can't analyze. Thus we see defeat where all points are gone and his will and wounded pride are fatigued and broken and all that is left is an utter desperate attempt at composure and the last semblance of reasoning thrown out the window. |

"Speed". Armor tanking with a Caldari suit is illogical, and when people starts to use the SCR more, shield tanking is going to be unrealistic. Let me clarify... "Speed" tanking is going to be the best direction for a assault class to go to.
Oh interesting, avoid bullets altogether because of increasingly damaging weapons. Brilliant! I have to say but will a Minmatar logi be able to go faster because of increased low slots? Most logical thing I've heard. |

So instead of 10% reload speed maybe 10% movement speed? Then you ll have to balance scouts who already blur across the field. Like the idea but how to balance would be key. |

Yes the dps is good but only at about 15-20 yds tops because of dispersion and the recoil which gets quite nice the longer you fire. This is of course coming from BF3 where the damn famas fired like a burning mule on speed. The full auto ar fire nice and clean beyond that with consultancy and little recoil. I know k/d doesn't matter but mine is a 3.14 or 3.15 and I only use a heavy mostly with a HMG sometimes with forge gun. |
