I'd agree, it's fine where it's at -- balanced, it sucks when you get outside of range, but nothing else can really compete with it in cqc if it's in the hands of an adept SG player. |

I don't agree -- the reticule is fine, lag/fps drops sometime play a factor though as it's a very 'sensitive' weapon. |

Were you expecting a scout suit? While I'd love for that to be viable... logi does it better :-P

I'd agree with that, all though nearly all guns are plagued by this problem. However, I remember it being much worse 6 months ago in that build. |

Meh, it would need to have its damage taken down to do that. Not what I look for to fill its role, but hey, to each their own. |

Yes, with server side hit detection I don't know how this will ever not be an issue thought :-/ -- more about solving lag, sometimes that's a symptom of your connection, sometimes of congestion on the interwebz, sometimes on the server side... such is the interwebz. |

There are a few, most maps have areas that have tight corners. Staying around them and taking the road less traveled to get you to them will keep you alive quite often. |

Yes there are those couple maps where my shotty never gets a rest but they are 2 out of the many and their variants are pulling the fight toward more open areas. There are a few tight corners on all maps but these make the shotty a defensive weapon great at defending points. I still think a skilled AR/SR user will kill a skilled SG user a majority of the time.
Ya, however, i think a skilled shotty user getting the jump on an AR/SR user from behind will kill them the majority of the time, and possibly a couple of friends nearby.
The chaos you can create in a situation and damage you can cause with a well timed flank is quite impressive. If i had more PC footage I'd show you guys how nasty that can end up with friendly fire. |
