Hmm I think having ringers from your alliance is what an alliance is for sorry you are lacking on that part maybe that's why you lost all your land.
-edit- I said losing when I should of said "Lost all your land" cause you have none now.
It seems like this post has finally dragged me into the forums, so greetings fellow players. As the CEO of D.A.R.K L.E.G.I.O.N it seems appropriate to point out a few items from my perspective. I'll ignore the majority of these posts as I think most would agree they don't need responses to, but bear with me while i summarize a brief history of how this little excitement came to pass....
It all starts with the Reaper Galactic, now i'm sure most of you are saying who heck is that? They are a small corp that was one of the first to join our alliance that promptly left almost immediately after joining with a cheeky mail to me about not overreacting and implying we had no support on the EVE side. Now I ask you guys what's a game like this without a few enemies? Until this point we had made a point of building relationships, but when someone jerks you around and wastes your time only to promptly leave with a mail while questioning your abilities.... we did what any sane man would do... set out to make a point. Which we promptly did both on EVE and in PC.
So here is the facts as I know them. Unfortunately in the land grab that CCP set up (thanks CCP for letting us know in advance how few districts would be released for PC) Reaper Galactic snapped up a Cargo Hub. Despite the fact you have to pay 80 million (wtf happens to my MCC when i win?!) every PC battle when you don't have a district we promptly attacked them and two other districts belonging to other corps. Truth is we lost the first two fights against the other corps, although I will point out that we were the only ones in those two battles to bring 100% our own corp members, and suffered the horrible dc and lag issues that seem to plague PC. However, for all I know the other side had the same issues and if they want half the players representing them from another corp that's up to them. Back to Reaper Galactic, the first battle was a slaughter fest, even with a couple other corp members they brought in... then, to the best of my knowledge, they went running to RISE of LEGION since we were also slaughtering them on the EVE side at this point. That's when Onslaught Inc showed up in the second battle (maybe 6 or so?) as 'ringers' I guess, not sure, because we promptly murdered the lot of them... and probably where the real war started since their CEO is a diplomat for RISE of LEGION that tried to recruit me into their alliance awhile back. Guess she took it badly, she was in the battle, I recall killing her a number of times (think she got me once too). It was a no show for the 3rd battle... 80 million ISK to kill 3 bloody clones after winning the last battle (CCP you're killing me!).
Then came the response from RISE of LEGION in the form of The Tritan Industries (nope, not Onslaught Inc, maybe they were busy or knew they wouldn't win the fight). Now I will say straight out I have respect for The Tritan Industries. The first good corp to fight us that brought pretty much all their own members (if not all then the vast majority, memory escapes me right now). That's a fight I can respect. I would point out that if it wasn't for CCP we would have won the first battle despite 2 of our members having lag from the start we had a decent lead (they were putting up one heck of a fight, but the scales were well on our side) until mid way through when lag took out my entire squad and we went from having 3 to 4 of the NULL Cannons to none. So round one to them and I think if there is one on here that was in the fight they would have to agree lag was a major factor on that one. Finally round two was the best PC battle non-lag wise that I have seen and it was a true fight in which they beat us straight up. The crazy time frame for these battles finally wore on our best guys and we still had no heavies available at that time, a fact i think they picked up on in the first battle and took advantage of in the second, so good job guys. I nod my head to you. I will throw in a node to my guys who did show up for the third battle and killed a lot more of them then they did of us with the 10 clones we had available... here at D.A.R.K L.E.G.I.O.N we fight till the bitter end!
Hopefully you made it through my essay, my apologizes on my lengthily writing, but hopefully some of you were entertained! I will end on the point that BHD has been a great bunch of guys and I'm glad your in the alliance. |
