While a lot of players are commenting on adding things like faction mods that drop from FW battles and Loyalty points for stores and such, I think they would go a long way to adding flair to FW matches and agree.
However, in the short term, there are very few FW battles open at any given time, and getting a full squad into them is a mad dash!
I propose adding standings to the militias that increase with success in FW battles. These standings could be separate from those received by a corporation on the EVE end, but I think it would help promote synergy between the games if they related to one another. The EVE guys would care what their boys are doing on the surface and the guys on the surface would benefit from having easier access to the FW matches.

This is a great idea.... Something like loyalty points, maybe?
Idk exactly how it would work but maybe something like this:
All corps start at 0 preference points, if you play for the amaar your corp gets X points for a win and X points for a loss... The next battle your corp plays for caldari in FW, your corp will still get X points for a win and X points for a loss but your corp will also get -X points to the amaar loyalty since you played for another race.
You can't go negative in race loyalty, just stay at 0, this would make having a FW loyalty mean allot more.
Once you get X loyalty points for a race you get corp preference to join their FW battles... Not that it will boot others so you can join but maybe like a 5 min pre enrollment into the battle?
Random ideas.
I like the idea though.

I still think that the RNG generated FW battles need to be tossed in the bin and we need to be allowed to actually join Militias and Initiate Attacks on enemy-faction held District in the same fashion as Eve Militia members are able to plex enemy systems offensively or friendly systems defensively.
Until we get that, they'll just be glorified pubs no matter the reward. |

I want a "Royal Marines Scrambler Rifle" so this is very relevant to our interests.
We need to get more people into the warzone, and I want to be able to have something to point to when my nerds are wondering when they're gonna get paid.
Give us "deploy as team" and LP rewards and you'll make the game so much better. |

The reason I suggested Faction mods is because I think that overall it would be a faster / quicker to deploy new items to the market. This seems to be hotfixable, as opposed to some like corp standings in Dust, or something else which would require more time to implement.
I do however agree that long term we should definitely implement your idea. Not that I know how the back end of the game works. |

A good idea in theory. Problem is it seems like it'd cause a self-sustaining loop and do nothing in the long run to getting more people into faction warfare.
Corporation A farms loyalty with the Minmatar, so their squads have an easier time getting into FW matches for Minmatar. Since they can get into matches easier, they can build more loyalty easier, which helps them get into more matches and build more loyalty. This means that when Corporation B tries to start doing FW, they're more likely to get shut out by Corporation A, so they have an even harder time getting their loyalty up, so they get into fewer matches. Even if you say "Well, OK, what about just one squad per corporation" or "What about just on a per-character basis," that still causes the problem of the same 30 or 40 people getting into matches, so they get more loyalty, so they can get into matches." |

Absolutely, this is a big problem that would need to be addressed, and the solution would be for more matches to be generated.
Being tied to complexes being run in EVE is amazing for game synergy, but also puts Dust as an assistance role instead of a driving force. |
