I'm not talking generic frontline AR assault fittings, but special stuff that's fun to play as. Currently, my main fitting is what I call my "Covops scout" It consists of a minmatar scout dropsuit, scrambler rifle, nova knives, AV grenades, and active scanner. I find it very fun to use, and effective at both hit-and-run tactics and ninja-hacking.

All it is is just a plasma cannon with a couple damage mods, a nanohive l, and a scramber pistol. I used to hate using the plasma cannon and thought it was a waste of my sp ,but when i used for something besides its purpose i really liked it, though i havent killed anyone with it its still annoying to be blasted at.

Nobody expects a heavy who can fight like an assault. One on one against other heavies? One charged scrambler shot, switch to pistol and headshot city, they die easy. One on one against any other guy? The ability to ADS and fire quality, accurate pistol/scr shots at heads is amazing. You have enough health to tank the obvious damage you will recieve for being relatively still, but you kill so quick they are lucky to pop your shields. The only major problem is if you get over-ran, but the sprint mods help reduce that. Run away, leave a nade behind for cover. Going from insta dead scout to heavy feels like cheating. That ebing said, the HMG blows.

DAFUQ - Geth Back in codex (the build before scramblers got nerfed, and 2 builds before lasers got nerfed) I ran a heavy with a laser rifle and a scrambler pistol. It was extremely effective.

At the start of battles I run active scanner, uplinks, needle, scr, and smg. It's fun knowing how many red dots are around before planting uplinks, or trudging forward.
