Anyways, I happen to be loving the game and i'm glad it's on PS3 No, read it again. I said play-to-win. This game is absolutely play-to-win. When there is a battle between people using low level/militia gear and someone with superiour gear, skill matters very little in this game. If the new player is a far better player than the person who has grinded for all that good gear, he will most likely still die.
Sorry, my mistake.
I certainly don't have a problem with playing to win. If you put time in, you deserve to have better things than newbies.
I only have 3.9 mil SP myself, alot of it wasted in stupid areas because I didn't know what I was doing at the time. Even so, I still routinely do very well in matches. It's all about how you play imo. Stick with groups, learn to duck into cover to heal and let shields recharge and you'll be fine, regardless of time put in. Yes I get proto stomped in close quarters battles but that's perfectly fine. They put in more time and are rewarded with better gear, but you know what? They better watch out when it comes to range because I find very few proto players are any better than the average newbie. They just have better gear and that just means i'll have to use a few more bullets. |

No one is good at range because the controls and aiming in this game are so messed up
I do perfectly fine with my GLU-15 TAR. |
