Blasters: These are the only ones that should be in the bases. These turrets are for defense, not to dominate the entire map.
Railguns: Have unlimited range, kill my gunlogi in 3 hits and I can't get away. They kill any dropship in two hits no matter what modules they have fitted. They also have the stupidest positions on the map. They get the best spots where just the tip of the turret is exposed, and can fire down across the map.
You must be crazy if you think that a rail turret can take out a gunlogi in three shots,same with killing any dropship in two shots.I will agree that they have some pretty horrid positions at times though.

First off,missile turrets don't auto track at 2000+ meters away,let alone 200+ meters.Furthermore,if you can't get out of the way of the slow ass missiles coming from 2000+ meters away,they you honestly get what you deserve.

This NEVER happens.Most missile turrets don't even have that good of line of sight to shoot clear across the map.

Placement: Kind of went over this but they have the dumbest placement. It's like the DEV's said "Let's make it so that nobody can hit the turrets, let's give them maximum view of the battle, oh and let's make it so nobody can get to them without suiciding to do it.
TTK: 3 railgun shots will put one down, but they have a faster spool up time, and if he gets the jump on you you are dead.
Cost: Turret vs. A well fitted gunlogi. 0 ISK vs. 1.2mil+ ISK.
Disadvantage: They can't move, but why would you need to when you can see everything on the map? This honestly must be a troll post,right?
You could say that a good player with ANY weapon that can aim well can take out anything,so the point is moot.
There is no turret currently in this game that you can see everything on any map.If that were the case,NO ONE would ever run tanks because they would get blown up in seconds from being deployed.
