Logi bro with 1.1k health is broken mkkay. Also, if anyone else gets to that much eHP, you KNOW he has no gank and is slow as **** from plates. Be happy you cought him. Anything else works great. Now we just need that range fix. |

Using the fitting tool to figure out what these Proto Caldari Logis are getting. Damn, with 10% shield extender proficiency from the extension skill and another 25% from the logi skill, they are getting about 91 more shield per complex extender.
Anyways, with max skills a Proto Caldari Logi can get 5 complex shield extenders and 3 complex armor plates and still have room for a Duvolle Assault Rifle, giving them a total of 1171 eHP. |

You're dumb. just use the basic 65 plates as they give the best armor for the least speed penalty. After you stack 4 it's like 4.33 move speed |

Yeah, that's the problem with the Caldari Logistics. And yet people constantly complain about the logistics role as a whole. Have you seen the Amarr logistics suits? Yeah, great base armor and shields, but everything else about the suit is so very subpar. It's effectively an assault suit with 1-2 more equipment slots. Still, it's the only suit I use so I just suck it up and keep on sucking. |

It may be because CCP gave a much higher amount of slots for suit modules. Suits have too much defense so the guns aren't able to get the kill as often as they should be. Suits were better with fewer slots and even when weapons had lower dmg. |

Armor needs a slight buff (which it is getting through a larger selection of modules) Caldari Logis need a slight nerf (change bonus from 5% per level to 2%) LR and MD both need buffs. Im not sure if SR does too, but buffing ALL weapons doesn't seem to be the right move... Certainly gernades don't need a buff, and ARs probably don't either.
The servers and game engine need a significant buff. Probably the biggest thing affecting game speed right now... LAVs are making the game nice and fast! Fast = good right? Maybe we should buff LAVs to keep the games moving quick. |

What do y'all think of making modules percentage based so for example 268 caldari assualt base shield (passives maxed) gets 33 or so Hp per shield extender (15%) making assaults better at combat than logis. Perhaps (25%) to get that 66 complex extender. It also rewards those who stick to 1 tank except for amarr who will have the same base HP. This keeps assaults from flocking to logis who can tank 1000hp. Then change passives for logis so that all their equipment is 25% more effective.(core repair tool repairs 131Hp/second). Logis are more effective as are assualts. Thoughts? |

I think it would make the game even harder to balance. It adds a lot of moving parts. |

That would hit scouts HP survivability HARD. A single complex extender is a huge part of scouts tank. Also, stacking those while having %bonus would be quite powerful. So stacking penalties needed (which seem not to be in effect in many cases?) |

True this does hurt scouts don't want them taking another hit. Assualts get no bonus while heavies become more formidable and logis can't tank like heavies. The poor scouts though, the reason I thought of this was that every other module is percent based imagine if damage was a set number? As it is now heavies get the least bonus from extensions and plates % wise it's just the scouts would get screwed in this system. Perhaps if scouts got that crazy 25% bonus to extenders? |

The logi suit bonus's are ,..well there,... they,.. ummm
well they should have bonus to repair range/amount, bonus to hives, the classic % reduction to fitting said mods, etc etc.. and the real logi players would dance in the streets.. |

Oh I didn't mean stacking with the new HP everytime. I meant along the lines that let's say you have 200 base shield 3 25% modules would add 150hp.(so each module maxes out based on base HP without modules) So the caldari logi with maxed out passives and 5 25% mods would only have 605 shield instead of 670. If you got ride of the insane 25% bonus to shield extenders they could only have around 535 shield with assualts having 553shield with 25% to shield regen thus putting assualt on top for frontline combat, but without killing a logis deffense who without any armor mods could still have 648 total HP. Scouts could get the logis 25% bonus to shield extenders and a 9 slot layout.
Or we could just all have the same number of slots regardless of suit and remove 25%shield extender bonus from caldari logi. So all std get 3 adv get 5 and pro get 7. Scouts get buff, logis get balanced so that assualts are dominate fighters, and heavies can have more flexibility. Of course keeping race into account when distributing low and hi slots. |

Proto assaults need to get that extra equipment slot back. I made the mistake of going Mim assault and spend more in my Sever logistics so I can deal with the LAV's Got tired of losing 130+k suits because of LAVs. Yea yea Av grenades and all but it's hard to push through a position when you can't throw a AP grenade and soften em up. Even though they are less efficient now I am a big fan of the prox mines. Having a nano and prox mine was what really made the proto assault suits worth while to me. Will likely go logistics with my respec as it offers more ways to be an asset to my team. I get better K/DR with my assault fits but I get more wins with the logistics. |
