The only reason that IMP would stoop so low as to buy clones off another corporation, especially one as pitiful as STB, is so that we may fry bigger fish. STB's actions and words are UNACCEPTABLE. We will not forgive these and will chase you out of PC and nullsec when it's released. STB also makes several claims of "outliving" other clans/corporations (3C, G|C, <3) when the truth being, we're still together! maybe not under the same banner, but we are still together to this day and remain relationally strong with eachother, and stay in contact. STB has never "toppled" an empire in any game (I've watched their failboat since the begging.) and they've lost the best players they managed to hang on to for so long on this game. The truth is QG, you only have a name for being an idiot who commands those stupid enough (or new enough) to believe that you're actually GOOD.
I was apart of STB at one point in MAG, I brought with me 50+ high quality players. The whole plan from the begging was to gain leadership and destroy STB, apparently someone saw it coming (QG was blind and was on my side to give me leadership) because I was kicked after actively attempting to gain leadership, STB was at it's strongest because of me, and at it's weakest after I left and stole their few remaining good players (besides crimson who we have now stolen.) Mark my words QG, I will be the end of your pitiful corporation. You're nothing more than a welcoming mat to us.
