I'm QQing here for you CCP! Extend that draw distant finelli. Yesterday some dude was trying to kill me whole match, and I couldn't do anything because he was invisible HAV. How is it possible that he can see me, and I can not see him - draw distance is draw distance, squad sight should have nothing to do with draw distance - it should be only responsible for system-markers that appear on map or HUD. CCP fix my HAV please please please /me crying at the corner of the room .
PS Crying part was joke. |

Though my brain hurt a little making sense of that, I completely agree. A rail tank cannot snipe, a blaster tank cannot see where they are being sniped from.
I have watched stationary turrets disappear(I was stationary too) while it was still firing at me.
Only time I know I hit something is if I see the little red X around my crosshairs. I don't think I ever snipe at dropsuits anymore, just the little beacon over their head and hope I get lucky. Vehicles being dropped by bolas are almost always invisible.
I have had forge and swarms incoming and no way of seeing the attacker until I charged towards them hoping to get in range of my draw distance.
This is extraordinarily frustrating when a slight screwup can cost me 1.5mil |

There really need to be graphics performance customization options which allow greater draw distance at the expense of quality - or just a draw distance control in the first place. It is so short that you can't see a vehicle or person on the ground, despite being able to clearly see that ground.
Changing the game to 480p instead of 720 doesn't even help.
Worse, you can be hit by projectiles shot from beyond your draw distance, and the projectiles won't even be drawn when they ARE within the draw distance - so you have no way to tell where they came from.
This is easily the most glaring oversight in the game's design at this point. Please fix it. |

The draw distance, in general, is completely messed up right now. This was the worst decision CCP made in an effort to optimize the client. All of the agents on the battlefield need to be visible to all of the other agents at all times. Anything less destroys immersion, tactical options, and general playability. |

I just get lucky shots in, 1st I see you then I aim at your trail and when you disappear I aim a few meters in front if where I saw you, if I get a hit, I continue to do the same thing until the +50 shows up on my screen |

How about a flat cap on everyone? Call it max visible distance on suit's or vehicle's sensors, only snipers and rails can see further than that. Make damage direction indicators more accurate and visible, as well as sniper and rail contrails, and targets flagged by teammates. Turn the technical limitation into a thought out mechanic with balancing applied. You can still find appropriate cover if you know the direction. Turret installations have a max detection range and won't fire outside that unless manned. A manned turret may not be able to see his target, but can fire in the direction of flagged targets. |

Why hasn't this been fixed yet? It's a flaw which is significantly detrimental to the gameplay experience for both snipers and snipees. It's inexcusable. |

No it's not like that, we had one build in past "E3" I think, that had low draw distance(for everyone). Today draw distance issue is more complex for HAV drivers rather then for Snipers(infantry). |
