Yeah i'm finding a lot of one sided games. Like, two full squads of corps will be on one side then a bunch of random guys who hopped in game..Why is it so hard to put one of those full squads on the opposite team? There should be a change team feature as well..that way the players can help balance it out.
Also, why not change the in-game chat system? Take a leaf out of the old school game, "MAG" or even planet side 2. Make it easier to communicate other than 16 people hopping on Team chat..that's completely chaotic. There should be a guy who is higher rank than a squad leader in the game. Like for example, in PC matches you can pick who it is, and for public matches and faction warfare it could be randomized? Put some sort of leadership levelling system to go along with the SP system...one, this will make it more fair for who gets this higher rank. Also it will encourage people to be leaders and use teamwork in the game. Thus making it more fun for others...more fun means more money spent for CCP ;) And this person could have the ability to talk to the whole team, and everyone will be forced to hear him...now, i know some of you are thinking about our lovely trolls...you can still mute this guy, which i'll call the Platoon Leader for argument's sake.
This PL will have an ability to hit a button..or switch to a channel that allows him to speak to everyone at once. As long as they were either in squad chat..cause obviously you shouldn't hear him if you're in corp chat. Then squad chat will be the basic channel everyone will hop into..so then if you are a squad leader then you can go into team chat..team chat under this new system will be for other squad leaders to chat to discuss what each squad to do..and of course to communicate with the PL..the PL can communicate in Team chat and Broadcast..also with his specific squad...non leaders will be locked to squad chat..like, they shouldn't be aloud in team chat..the SL could hear them and team chat at the same time so they can relay orders back and forth.
you'd have to add more features to the game for leaders to do to justify the reasons for leaders..like they have access to better orbitals and squad leaders keep the basic orbitals..or the SLs get something else and the PL gets something..somehow tie it in with Eve..
these are just examples..but i totally think that if we can an improved chat system similar to this to make it more accessible and not as chaotic as team chat..(Which btw is hardly used) I think people will think the game was more fun..and it promote teamwork as i said above.

Out of all the things MAG did wrong, the chat command system was nearly flawless. |

I like the idea of platoon leaders / squad commanders etc. And with 2 push to talk buttons they have room to implement addition voice coms. |

yeah i mean CCP doesnt have to copy mag completely..just do something to it. I cant stand being on a team with random blue dots..and no one talking..i mean all these lopsided games, could be even games if the "randoms" were able to communicate easier. Then maybe..just maybe they could take down these big name corps that squad up and spam proto gear..id like to see this done..but im a small voice. |

I'm not a fan of a lot of the things MAG did, but I always did like their chain of command system and command order system that made communication easy even if everyone is a random with no mic. |

We usually go on team chat so we can try and coordinate the blue berries, sometimes you get a few guys, sometimes they are in their own squad. Gotta try it and succeed at it man. |

yeah i guess your right..putting more effort torwards actually going into team chat..but then again that goes to my other point 16 people on team chat would get chaotic and nothing would get done that way either. |

1 of a million things CCP can make better yet they choose to make broken weapons and then spend months nerf fixing everything instead of fixing core mechanics and fixing game play. |

I have noticed more and more lately this occurring, gets quite annoying going against a full team of squads. 2-3 corps. And be on the team that loads in mcc with 0 squads, half in team chat but not talking at all.. or hearing only a baby screaming.. and nobody squads up even when you create a squad and say join the fk up, it will help us win, trust me!! One of the biggest reasons I switched up from being an assault guy to a logi guy.. as logi guy I can do other things than just needlessly throw myself in front of an organized squad moving together while my team runs this way and that like ants whose hill just got stomped. I could join a good corp, but I prefer not limiting myself in dusts current state and like to talk to new people.( when they actually do talk) |

I think an MCC commander would be an effective means of improving the comms. As battles and wars get bigger, hopefully, you get squad leaders, field commanders (commanding 2 squads each or more), MCC commander, Strategic Commanders (co-ordinating battles across multiple districts), generals (battles for whole planets) and warlords (multiple planets), and finally High Commanders and Alliance Leaders.
But I agree communication needs to be improved and match making needs to be improved. |

thats a bit much, and i do agree it be great..but all im asking for is a simple comms system. It make the game better...and of course better matchmaking. |

They've got to get a team deploy section that will clear out some of the organized squads that roll through pub matches.
We have to play too and we aren't going to lose on purpose, but I honestly feel a little bad stomping the **** out of randoms all day. |

Well of course you guys got to play lol, I hope nobody is suggesting to outright get you out of pub matches. Thing is, when there is 3 squads on one side 2 filled up, all working together.. and not a single squad with even 2 men in it on the other side, there is an issue to be addressed.
Why does the game not take one full squad on each side, then randomly throw the other in one of the temas and then fill in with the squadless.. for some reason it seems to fill one side with squads and then fill the other with all squadless |

also...how hard is it to make it to where people auto squad? if you jump into a game solo..then you should be thrown into a random squad. There shouldnt be 3, 1 man squads..or even 6 people in the no squad sections..which happens quite often. |

We, without mics can hear you. Until I get a new mic...all I can do is listen. One of my corp members noticed me in a battle and in the war room came up to me, got right in my face and said NIBBS SQUAD UP. I did and he talked, I listened and the battle was a winner. a good listener is sometimes better than one that can talk on the battlefield. But not everyone goes to team chat though..is my point..if your not in team chat..no one but the chat channel your in can hear you...go to team chat..you have chaos if everyone else is there..thats the usual situation at least..and my whole point for making this stating how i think the in game comms should be improved. |

Befor every match i give a motivational speech to the blue dots to squad up. 9/10 it works i haven't used team chat during the bsttles because im constantly going up against the big bad corps lol. My Corp and the alliance I'm in faces off against other big bad corps. I rarely face random red dots.
Now if it's just my corp we somehow manage to be on the same side of random blue dots without being squaded up against, Corps that are running 2 to 3 squads deep lol. We love the challenge and it's making us better.
I agree match making needs to be better. |

It'd be nice to hear people on mic.
Unfortunately, they usually are in whatever this game's equivalent to private chat is. |

The problem with matchmaking is just that - there's virtually no logic to prevent full teams of proto-suits from facing guys right out of the Academy. The Devs said they would work on that problem... but it has always been a tricky problem for any FPS. Matching by SP or Equipment levels or Squads or Corps will help, but there will still be pub stomps. |
