This has happened to me. I opened a bug thread on it. It's not a client side issue as when you get the message you can still see the kill feed and if you sat there and waited and no one killed you the match ends, you see the score and no vehicle loss. If it was a disconnect there would be zero packets, So seeing the kill feed would not be possible.

Thus this is a net code bug and not the clients fault. Compensation seems just.

Or tanks Not quite relevant, but back in Chromosome, I called down a tank (Madrugar, with good, expensive mods) in one match and after about a minute, the frame rate had dropped to one or three or so, and I had to just drop out of the match. Couldn't recall my tank even if I'd wanted to, because that was Chromosome, and this is Now. But yes. It's frustrating as hell when you D/C in a match when you've just called down your tank, or your tank's in a particularly vulnerable position or anything like that.

I wish they werent a class at this point

It will take out most armor tanks, there has only been one armor tank i cant kill with missiles so yah its pretty great

There is no reason to disconect i have 100% signal strength with a wired mic and my router is ported as described in the sticky by the DEVs. Dunno why i DC but i wouldent mind it one bit if i dident loose 2.5 mill every time

I tried mimicking this with intentional disconnects and got different results. Quite strange though as it has happened to me on multiple occasions. Thought I'd share.

Or tanks If you're bankrupt right now, I hate to say it, but you're doing something wrong, and I'm not referring to the disconnects. Are you losing a couple each game? i wouldent say so. When we were awarded all the isk i spent all of my isk together and spent all the gift isk on tank hulls. Then CCP took back all my hulls and a bunch of turrents so i was left with nothing. So i have no isk and im trying to earn back my tanks and i DC with my tanks an awful lot. Its repetitive and not making Dust a chore that never gets complete

I remember having issues in many PSN games even with an 80% signal strength and solid PSN connection. Changed to wired and all that vanished. I don't even do any special port forwarding on dust. Just enabled uPnP on the router and don't recall having a single disconnect on dust.

Compensation seems just. lol considering the guy has been getting disconnected since codex, yeah I say its on his end. and whoopdee doo he lost a tank, you lost a tank that guy lost a tank, its the same thing as losing a suit really, sure it costs more but that's the risk you tank..i mean, take. everyone knows that at random points in this game you can get disconnected for no reason. Don't complain when you lose something because of it. If your upset because of it its your own fault. Throw on a cheap suit and go grind out some isk in an ambush like everyone else. Now im not dissing ya maple, but truth be told, you have been disconnecting for quite some time, I remember you dropping outta matches because of it, whether its you disconnecting or rage quitting because you lost a suit. get your stuff checked out bro.
