so i've been playing since late december-early january and i have a total of about 5,500,000 sp. i spent the majority of it on making my dream suit, and i actually did. it was a caldari medium fram ck.0 with an imperial scrambler rifle prof. to lvl.4 and some other stuff that gave the fit about 700 hp and an uncharged shot do about 100 dmg. i was happy, but recently i came to a wallet of -14,000,000 isk. i know, you may think i dug my grave, now lie in it, but it didn't happen like that. before the respec, i had about 30,000,000 isk. post respec 50,000,000. i only spent 20,000,000, so i may be wrong, but i should of had at least 10,000,000 isk, right. anyway i had to go into my corporation, which i had been donating to for months, and remove 14,000,000 isk(note i donated none of the extra isk to my corp), only to find out the next day they already brought it down to 0. that means my corp was out isk and i was out 10,000,000 isk.
anyway, my dream fit is too expensive now so i was working on building a new dream fit, after testing out nova knives. i want a minmatar light frame mk.0 with 2 enhanced kinetic catalyzers( hopefully complex one day), ishukone nova knives, and complex shield extenders. i'm not going to get into all of what i have, because that would be overwhelming, but to get to where i want, it's going to cost me another 1,500,000 sp.
to those who have used the minmatar scout before, is it worth it? is it worth grinding for months to get that suit, or is it nothing special? i've seen videos, and experienced it firsthand, and that thing is a SPEED DEMON. i've read all the forums complaining about the scout, so i need advice from an experienced scout. i tried to paragraph it to make it easier to read, and sorry this is kind of long. |

Please file a petitions in the future if you still feel like you been wronged out of more money than you should have, GMs will get you sorted soon enough, the script was screwy and did weird things like give me 100 million isk which I didn't touch an isk of, they seemed to only taken 90 away or I managed to make 10 in 3 days.
As for the minmatar scout suit I have no experience in, I play an omni-soldier and I don't have anything beyond militia grade just about. |

Yup, they'll get it sorted out. Just file a ticket or send them an email, CCP seems pretty good about that stuff. |

I have played with both versions of the scout suit and I don't know if you will ever get a 'dream' scout fit if you are coming from a 700hp caldar medium frame.
At most you will have 340+ shields (3 complex shield extenders on top of 100 base shield HP), plus 70 or 80 armor. Eventhough you will be fast, and you have a small hitbox, you will likely still die quite often as you will need to get super close to engage enemies with your knives. I don't think this fit will end up being super cheap either.... each death will set you back what, 90k at least?
When I think of dream fit in terms of good survivability and damage, I don't think of scout. Good damage, yes. Good mobility, yes. Good steath, yes. Good survivability, no - definitely not.

14mil will take like a week if you are just off an on. Dont use proto gear, and only do Ambush.
Or it can just take a few hours, as long as you use cheap fits and are aware of how many times you have died so you dont go negative. Negative as in, lose more isk in equipment than you will get as a reward for that round. |

On my main i was granted a free 200 somethn-mil lol i knew it wasnt right. But i had alot of isk before that that so i never came close to taking out of the free isk.
You can also do OMS and try to destroy the emplacements, do enough and you can get up to 350k+ per match if you also kill a few people here and there. thanks, and good idea. i've gotten up to 400,000 isk in a match, but i didn't know it was that easy. |

i know i miight die alot, but lately i haven't really been dying too much with knives. at most 2 or 3 a match if i'm smart, so i figured i would die even less when im faster, and have more health. thanks, this was seriously helpful. |

YES!
Last battle, with a similar fit (I combined an advanced winmatar scout, standard scrambler rifle, and prototype nova knives) I OHKed a heavy's logibro, then OHKed the heavy. After that, I proceeded to take down another heavy with a few regular shots + a charged shot from the scrambler rifle.
If you learn to play cautiously, use cover, and know when to run away, it's very fun and very effective. |

Another fun tactic- take a charged potshot with the scrambler rifle, run around a corner, and wait there, knives charged. |

Pistol works better and is more versatile. I prefer the rifle for this style, personally. Even though the rifle has the same range that the scrambler pistol had pre-nerf. |

I honestly feel at this juncture the minmatar assault racial proto is spot on. If you must use scout thats understandable. |
