I guess it wasn't obvious that the same problems with the tac existed with it's cousin that hits harder. |

Mate the overheat is what makes the SCR a lesser weapon to the AR. Someone who knows how to use the SCR can somewhat mitigate this but it still means we can pump out rounds like every other weapon type can. |

however it maintained a high ROF, with higher damage, and still has the same hipfire spread. With the heat build-up you can get out the same amount of shots that exist in a clip of the TAC (Roughly 18). |

if your not in a Amarr Racial suit; the Semi-Auto Scr only gets 9-10 shots before overheat w/ "rapid" fire ; where a TAR is 18 as no overheat |

Much shorter range, similar ROF, slightly higher damage, lower dmg to armor, and heat buildup. |

The TacAR tears are just... Idk... The scrambler has half the bullets and is FOR close range.

Same range after the buff. 400 RPM for tac 700 RPM for scrambler rifle. Higher Damage to shields. Higher damage output overall. |

The only explanation for whining about SCRs needing a nerf is that you're butthurt about the TAC getting nerfed and just want to **** on something else now.
SCR is fine. No, seriously, it's completely balanced. Get over it. |

Oh... thought this about the pistol, taking an ingame argument into the forums - never a good idea....

Still maintained it's hipfire spread and ROF keeping it competitive in cqc.
Also no this isn't a qq thread because the Tac was nerfed... I hated seeing that gun everwhere. I just don't want to spend the next 2 months finding a 90% scrambler rifle community. The weapon is OP for the same reasons the Tac was. The only difference is the overheat, which is easily mitigated by a good player. |

If an overheated SCR kills you... something is very wrong
seriously though the SCR is OK!! you can't recklessly fire with it, it doesn't have the same range as the TAR(da faq??), and has a mean drop off in DMG vs armor. There's nothing wrong with it(expect range >.> <.< much to short). I swear OP QQing about the SCR is like QQing about the HMG

Tie thread is absurd. **** it, why don't we just burn the game to the ground while we are at it.
You know what is OP? People's ability to create proper/survivable fittings, and inability to think properly in a combat situation, ultimately resulting in threads like this one. |

Deluxe, the standard AR is still king over the assault SR. The TAR wins over semi auto SR by range. |

Which explains why my alt was mostly the only one with a SCR during most of his matches today. The AR community is still going strong. Still saw plenty of Duvolles and TACs. I think TAC users are just QQing over the fact they are not so superior anymore.
With the SCR, it's not spray and pray. Don't end up in such CQC in the first place. Whenever I stood at mid range and was jumping in and out of cover with a charged SCR primed, I became deadly with that thing. But jump at me from a corner and I will likely overheat and start hopping like a bunny recovering from my weapon that just exploded in my face.
SCRs are fine. Don't do anything to them CCP. |

Yes tbh the nerf was probably the right thing to do, the tac, on reflection was probably a little ott. |
