If the better players win at PC then there is something going on that is broken? Did I read that right? Ok so basically you are not liking your chances at PC and are not willing or able to fund PC attacks or is it that you are seriously concerned that there is a problem? No matter who you are there is a chance you will win. No matter the battlefield, in the end it will always come down to how well does your team work together and what you are willing to do to make it work. If you have a problem with the good players all being on the other team then recruit some better players or train them. There is no excuse for not trying. |

Where, in Dust, do we have any fights that are not 16v16? The Oceana Server sometimes has 3v1 or 1v1 or 0v1. Other than sometimes mismatched pub matches we do not have this, nor does it seem practical yet to set a server to allow any number of players to join. The battles need to be capped at a certain number of players to make capping out a teams clones practical rather than just flood them with players. 8000vs16 would be a dumdumkitten way to fight a battle. You want lag that would be a sure way to get it.
Maybe if a way to join a battle up to the number of available clones and not a clone more were available it would be reasonable. I can't see another way to do it can you? Currently the battle system allows for this with a reserve of clones much greater than what there are on the field. If you look at the way Ambushes are structured 50 vs 50 with max deploy at 16v16 you can see it is simply the way that "All combatants must deploy to the burn zone" and CCP has pushed for full battles that don't drag on that has brought us to the point where now you are asking for a strategic blobbing which is anything but strategic in the case of a corp battle rather it is MOBBing an enemy who is better at playing the strategies that one employs to capture objectives and hold them to win the day or just outright cloning the enemy. |

You are looking at how teams are formed wrong. A-team is a show, not how things work in Dust. Many corporations who own districts have mutilple battle times and yet if you ask to be part of a PC battle I'm sure there is a way. If they say no there may be a reason. Can you come up with 80 mil to field a team? If so there is a chance that you can persuade leadership to put you and your team on the field. If not...well, I guess you can always do what the rest of us did when we started save our isk until we could. Put your team together, the cost calculated for an attacking team is 5mil per player, do you think you have what it takes? Get your directors to let you prove it. If they won't let you then maybe you should change corps or start your own. |
