Hi I am the CEO of a corporation called RagingRhinos. I have nothing to do with EVE and am trying to add tax to my corporation. I haven't found one yet but if anyone ever finds a way to add tax to my corporation please tell me. thank you. |

Here is a simple solution, require your corp or atleast ask them nicely , to fund 10% of thier weekly earnings into corp donations.. if you are doing PC, if not they will probably tell you to fk off, I would. But if doing PC, that option works well if you got a good loyal corp. |

great way to find out who don't give a **** and is along for the ride aswell.. **** can't be ran for free, there is no Obama , Fed , and China gov here to make it seem so lol. If your corporation only does pub matches , sure there is no reason and it would be dumb. This guy said he has nothing to do with eve., so probably PC is out of question and he is just making isk off his corp. But to say asking for taxes in general would make people leave is absurd, I don't even know how many billions I have gave up in taxes over the years in eve all for the better of corp.. |

Just like your taxes in real life, taxes in eve and Dust are there to build your infrastructure, and maintain said infrastucture, to keep in supplies for emergency , to keep stocked and ready for war. I understand a lot don't like the idea of seeing money leave and not knowing directly what it is going to , but if you have an honest leadership who is transparent about what he is doing with your isk, and you can see the benifits of your donations taking place.. there should be no problem |

Also those taxes will be used to supply vehicles and other gear down the road. I'd happily give 50% of my earnings if that meant that i can just use whatever i need to bring my corp victory. |

Donations are the only way to build the corp wallet as of now, for the people who say that if they had to donate to a corp they would leave, that's just one reason they don't hold any standing in PC, or even have the option.
Being in a good corp isn't just a free ride to boost your own stats, its about the team play and advancing the corporation. Money is easy to come by if you don't constantly die in 100k+ gear (I understand that tankers and pilots have a hard time because that stuff gets expensive) but as infantry you can build a very effective advanced suit for under 50k, or even use standard BPO fits and adapt your play style so you don't just run into a group of reds and get your head shot off. If you play as a team and stick with your squad you should still be able to turn a profit.
10% per game isn't that much to ask from your corp members if you are all committed to building the corporation and possibly participating in PC, its also one of the most effective ways of actually funding your dedicated tankers and DS pilots so they can actually run the gear they specced into to help your team on the field.
Sadly, as this is a logical response, it will get trolled and flamed by the idiot masses. Good day, HTFU, and adapt or die. |

which is probably why u are in an NPC corp.
the world of PC is expensive, and if you are in a crew that is participating, everyone needs to understand the cost and the necessity of helping out |

The money can be used for lucrative market PVP and buying gear in bulk whenever a good deal shows up can significantly reduce the cost of that gear. All of wich is much less viable when you have only your 200m something to your disposal that has to pay for ongoing costs aswell.
A corp with a good trader can make much more out of that ISK than just letting it rot in some mercs wallet.

Takes money to make money! Trading in Eve can be very lucrative, and I am hoping it will be in dust also . If so, I will participate in the market PvP. Let the 0.01 isk wars begin!

It's nice how you adressed all the points raised by others an me, deconstructed in a sound and logical manner and then came to a understanable conlusion as to why corp taxes shouln't be allow- oh wait you didn't adress a single one.

You clearly have no idea what the hell you are talking about, taxes are a MUST for a good corp to work and survive without depending on the good will of some of their players, with that isk you can invest in the players themselves, be it a recruit or a vehicle player, or investing in Planetary Conquest. And really 1% (for example) is too much to ask from any player? Corporations need taxes, thats a fact, we are all waiting, and waiting, and waiting, that they add this to the game. |
