this add on pack is hilarious.. Like wow CCP you really had to bring this out? Rather than fix the multitude of of broken features in this game first.. Including drop ships. |

Cos everyone who works at CCP is a game design dev, they don't have any marketing people, the devs just come in one day n think "I can't be arsed doing any game design, let's just spend the day playing with building merc packs"

CCP should be hiding dropships, not showcasing them.
It's going to take a very long time to make the dropship relevant and useful, and that's ok.
What's not ok is to let someone sell it to new players as if it were a working element.
This is either a case of greed or a massive lack of internal communication. |

Yes a failure to recognize that different departments at CCP to different things is a bit small minded.
That being said though, when the only department pushing things out the door is marketing goods of dubious worth then that's pretty crass as well.
Oh well, just my 2 cents. Please resume tearing shreds off of each other for my amusement. |

I kinda knew as soon as I saw them that there would be issues... For one, you DON'T put militia stuff on a dropship. You either go proto or go home. Second, you really have to devote all of your prominent slots to your tank. The CreoDron transport has 3 lows and 4 tank mods, so that's actually alright (aside from that it only has 3 lows :P ), but the Kaalakiota Recon... Oh man... First off, only 1 shield extender, and no booster. The thing is clearly made for quick insertion, but as some of you may have noticed, non-ADS's aren't too agile. |
