If Ghandi would have followed it, he would have been dictator of India, eventually dethroned and decapitated.
I am pretty sure if we didn't win the revolutionary war we would have been given a colony status like Canada, some autonomy, and finally 'given' independence. Happened in the 1950's with canada? Not quite as dramatic, or having a lengthy history of a independent nation but still, yea.
Of course that is partialy because the UK despite being the bigest colonial empire by pure landmass unlike some other imperialistic powers was somewhat nicer then some and concerned with well-being of people under them, and after ww2 transitioned to ending it volentairly. France by contrast was the nation that didn't give up ambition of holding colonies forever indochina/vietnam because they thought they were special, up to the 1950-1960's at about a million dead, mostly veitnamese. Likley if such loss of life didn't happened (a number french troops dieing to traps like bambo spears smeared with pigshit) they would have tryed to be colonial masters of veitamese forever.
If Ghandi did become dictator of india that would have made him more of a baddass. he did non-violence thing, and got killed by some hindu extremist. So sounds like in real life he used the blueprint STB has.
Also relating to former point, if Uk wasn't so nice to give it up colonies without a war, and was more like france. Ghandis phylosophy might not have worked so well, and the indians would have had to have a war like the vietamese did, and require a character more like ho-chimin to encorage europhags to GTFO with a phylospphy of "you can kill ten of my people for every one of yours and I will win", and have enough foreigners falll into pits full of bambo spears and pigshit .
Other then that the other stuff is spot on for historical accuracy.
Read up on vietnam war and history of ho-chimihn, and vietnam as a colony, interesting stuff. |

"If Lewis and Clark would have followed it, they would have ended up in Mexico."
Not sure if that would be getting lost being that borders of what is the USA, and Mexico changed over time. When they were doing the exploring, what was it, a good half of the now USA was still held by native Americans. They were explorers and certainly not psychics who would only go where they assumed the USA would expand too.
It wasn't until war with mexico that the USA had allot of that stuff in the south, incuding one of the redest and most patriotic states around Texas, where a number of presidents are from, one pretty recent too.
What is one nation, or another is pretty plastic, with the philosophy of might makes right, stuff switches hands.
Also Mexico didn't even exist as a nation at a time, but was a colony of Spain.

Its 3 different corps, think they might be all allied with southern legion, though maybe not. The districts you can find that are ours are going to get fewer.
As to getting sota to shut up, nothing will make that happen. It would be like trying to appease a crocodile by feeding it.

"History is written by the victors" - Winston Churchill
Does that mean the Vietnamese get to rewrite history because they won or outlasted 3 colonial powers over a period of many decades (was it a hundred years?) and the facts gets reduced to this.
"And then the trio of imperialist powers, French, Japanese, and Americans, all colaborated to attack Veitnam at the same time, ; but then from the sky came Ho-chiminh, and his crack elite troops, the veitcong, outnumbered but not outfought, they were able to inflict massive casultys on the enemy, KDR 100/1. So smart was uncle ho, he developed the nucular bomb and droped two on japan. This war lasted just one year, and will forever be known as the great patriotic war that established Veitnam as the dominate and peaceful world power, the worlds policepeacemen and guardians, a silent knight, a vigle guardian over the planet, like that batman movie, but real" |
