I'm trying to get in touch with Eve players and corporations involved with/in FW and I am having a tough time of it. I've managed to find a small handful of different chat channels but no one on them is proving to be very helpful in my search...

If you like Amarr FW then I actually started an "AMARRFW" chat. Could really use you guy if you want to help flesh it out. Perhaps if we got enough players together we could try to get in touch with an EVE side corp and give'em a hand when they do some FW work. |

I personally hate the Amarr, but that doesn't matter. We are looking for employers, so all that matters is if they can pay the bills. If I can find similar channels for the other factions, or if you can get some Eve FW people in there, I will join. |

Dunno why you would hate the Amarr but its cool, they're allied with the Caldari and I'm pretty sure EoN was Caldari aligned last time I checked.

There seems to be lots of people all trying to get somthig set up for example I have the amarr immortals channel for dusters to find people to squad up in. I think all that needs to be done is agree on a single channel. Or have the game spawn us into a militia channel somehow |

I think most people who care about FW actually want to fight in FW for themselves. I don't see corps sitting around throwing out isk for you to have the fun. |

Tbh when a lp type system gets introduced u will likely see a large surge in organised units right now u can just mess around hense the general apathy towards FW in dust |

So you would take a subscription from EVE corps for you to run merc battles against whichever faction you are paid to fight? I just can't see any other way this would work, good idea though; wish I thought of it. Makes it possible to get more our of pubs, can be more profitable than PC.
Is there a way to see FW standings? I wasn't aware CCP had implemented it yet. Other than standings, the only use of FFW to EVE players is plexing, right?

try searching google there are fw specific channels for each race
also the eve forums may be the better place to start. there are specific fw threads there |

To anyone interested in Amarr Faction Warfare, I have a few places you could go. For one my corporation was created for the intention of Amarr FW. You could either send an application or just join our public channel if you want to squad up, IRO Public. Likewise, PIE Inc is another good Amarr oriented corporation and you can also join their public channel at PIE Public. |

Actually, if the game automatically adds you to a Team channel when you deploy into a match, why not have it also drop you into the EVE-side FW channel for the side you're fighting for? |
