CCP please implement this feature. I have a suggestion on how to do it as well.
Allow all players to access to squad command wheel regardless of whether they are in squads or not. But players not in squads would not be able to select any squad commands like defend or attack orders etc.
Add the request ammo option to the squad command wheel that every player can select. Selecting the ammo request option would put a little ammo icon above your head for 20 seconds that your entire team can see. This will alert players with nanohives that another player needs ammo. This may encourage players to enter battle without nanohives sometimes as well because they may be confident that an ally would provide the extra ammo for them. |

sounds pretty good actually as long as it doesnt pester all players, just the ones with hives
i still see the revive icon on the map every now and then even without carrying the injector.... id hate this happening often with players requesting hives lol
a further step up what about extending this idea to reppers as well as hives so if your below a certain % of hp/ammo and u press the request button it tells both players with the triage tool/hives u need assistance |

as a logi infantry(when i run infantry) id know it would help me decide which blueberries to heal why heal the one running away from me when i can instead heal the one requesting help(id rather heal both but its tough when they are running away and your stuck following them trying to keep a lock-on) |
