I bet even if you run out bullets with the HMG, ramming those barrles inside someone torso then spinning the barrels with have a similair effect.

in the close range the heavy is at an advantage, however those where proto bears, if you lose to a heavy in a pro assault suit with an AR you are doing it wrong or have no core skills. if you have the right skills to make proto worth it you should be able to stand in front of a heavy and drop him before he drops you, although they did buff the damage so maybe you have to dodge a little.

frankly pros are easy as hell to take out tho I win most fights against pros with a basic STD suit. Its the good players, who also tend to be the first into them, that make proto suits seem so scary.

Just roll a donut within view. Us fat kids are easily distracted by pastries.

It's how the merc companies motivate us. the virtual rolling donut simulation and enemy fatkid trying to steal our donuts overlay.

why is an assault suit standing in front of a heavy for? and why they hell did he drop him first? |

I have noticed a pretty big spike of heavies lately, guess a lot of the players went back to their "tried and true" setup after the last respec.

Funny thing is, they are doing pretty dang good on the battlefield.

Successful heavy tactics I have seen thus far:

 - Heavy murder taxis are making a comeback.
 - Heavies are carrying flux nades and lobbing them generously (this is a brutal combo against Calogis in CQC!)
 - Heavy double or triple team gang-bang. Heavies might not be the best at 1v1, but when you put three+ together against 1 or more players, it is crazy effective. I saw a whole gaggle of them the other night mowing through players almost effortlessly.
 - Heavies sticking and fighting with a group (mostly non-heavies). Yes seems obvious, but it is their intended role and they do very well at it.

Heavies are definitely making a comeback. I am just wondering if they got a stealth buff or if they weren't so "useless" as players claimed, but wanted CCP to buff them even more.

The damage buff. I have yet to see many QQ threads after that.
