I'm a little uncertain about this idea because it might disadvantage the attacker to much. If you're being attacked by a strong opponent that can field a team that can beat yours at a particular time, all you would have to do is win once and you could change the timer to give yourself a better chance of winning from then on.
But then against, in the worst case scenario, the attacker only needs to win 3 consecutively times to flip a district. That isn't that hard, and when you are talking alliance sized wars, the timers on individual districts don't matter as much. If they overlap to many districts at once, they become vulnerable to multifront zerg attacks. |

Mr. Gloo actually brings up an interesting point that might help fix some of the bugs. People who record PC have videos that run flawlessly, but these videos DO NOT reflect their experience while playing.
TheMARKof22 has a video, I think it's called clutch victory or something, where he is not being very effective. This is because he was suffering from "lag" (probably framerate issues), but the video ran perfectly smooth. |

CRONOS, do you not remember when PC first started, you were doing pretty good. Because you had the server.
Since then EoN has turned getting server into an art (kindergarten finger painting art). We usually win those battles.
But we have been steamrolled in PC fights when you had server.
I suspect sometimes both sides are screwed.
Also, when I'm ninja hacking your letters, does it look like I'm standing still? Maybe that's why you guys keep missing me.
But the way "lag" works is, on your screen your shooting us and we are taking no damage for a while, on our screen, we just suddenly take a eff load of damage and die. |
