It looks far more playable than this game does at the moment. Actually being able to maneuver around terrain and obstacles and use them as part of your strategy and survival? Environments that accommodate strategic gameplay don't consist of large empty expanses? Being able to react to coming under fire rather than falling over dead after half a second?

Facepalm I will let the Eve vets school you on CCP and EVE. Better yet google Eve Online ten years ago, then fastforward to today eith Odyssey. That will be Dust514. |

That Last of Us multiplayer video leads me to believe that it'll be horrible. I mean, you're not even playing. All it is is a black screen that says:
"The Last of Us Mu..."

Why on earth would anyone choose that over Dust? It might have it's problems, but at least your actually playing. |

MP looks decent, it's well known MP is just a bonus, it's all about the SP. And it looks amazing, a real survival game. The animations are so good, and it can be pretty realistic. |

Exactly. How can you say it looks boring? It's very intense. Especially if you play on Hard or Survivor. And they finally made the AI good, so enemies will flank you, they will scream out to other people saying what you have on you, where you are, etc...

Lol watch or play the demo if you die the game is not over, it starts you back at an auto save point.
Also they path is very linear it says noob not this way but this way very hand holding.
But console kiddies love hand holding and going down one path have fun. |

Wow, just shut up Salasi. You call us console kids, but here you are, playing Dust on a console! Stop acting like PC players are gods. You do start over on a checkpoint? You're point? It is linear, but more open than Uncharted. It's a story, a very set narrative. Not every game has to be open world. It doesn't hold your hand that much either, you can turn off all of the HUD and all help. It's rumored on survivor difficulty you have one life the whole game. It's pretty decent in length too, most reviewers report 16-20 hours on easier difficulties.

LoU looks boring imo, I am a Dust player, never played EVE.
I played Myth of Soma, a Korean MMO for 5 years (1 month grind per level after 90).
On the flip side, I love Metal Gear Solid, original Modern Warfare, Dead Island, Fallout games.
