So here it is, people constely complain about what is wrong, and whats ****** up. I am not looking to have an ass-kissing thread, but I want people to list what they feel is actually where it should be. Not needing a buff, or nerf. In the past some weapons have been nerfed that didn't need it *coughmassdrivercough* or a buff and didnt need it.
Below I am listing weapons I have used and feel are ballenced, I cant say that these are the only weapons balanced, but these are the ones I have experence with.
Balanced Weapons
- Flaylock: Some people complain about them beeing OP, but the amount of people who are actually skilled at using it are low. So to me, that means its ballenced enough.
- Sniper rifle: Been killed by it, killed people with it, to me I dont see anything really wrong with these weapons.
- SMG: Used it more in the last build, used it a bit in this, still works good and still kills people who get too close.
- Scrambler Pistol: Not the easiest to use, but powerful when hit.

If all weapons are not balanced close enough, it makes too hard to tell because the balance will be shifted too far to one side... nothing is balanced, just broke. |

I'm going to be that guy and say Mass Drivers are also balanced, if equipped with flux grenades. How many people have you seen using MD vs post Uprising threads about the MD being OP compared to Chrome. Something's wrong with a weapon that isn't an AR when people don't complain about it. Look at tanks and HMGs as well. |

It's not that I don't believe you, but there are quite a few veteran MD users that say the contrary. Feel free to read through that thread and share your experiences with the weapon.

To be quite honest, it's all opinions.
Mass Driver, fluxs and remote explosives are the only damage dealing items I actually have on my suit, yet I can get 20+ kills.
When the mass driver first changed, I was also raging that they changed it. I also said they had completely ruined it.
I go back on those statements now since all it took was a slight change in playstyle. You had to re-learn the weapon and once I did that I was fine with it again. |

Without adv-proto tanks, it's hard to determine if they're actually balanced.

I'd like to mention that with the removal of the scrambler pistols headshot bonus within 18m the damn things are more or less the weakest sidearm all around.
In other news, I agree that scrambler rifles, flaylocks (when they work) etc...
@Sniper rifles... Lol. MAYBE the 'regular' ones, but the Thale's (officer) rifle is easily the most overpowered weapon in the game. And that's not even an effect of draw distance, though it helps. Simply put, you can go places no one else can (like MCC) and hit targets 300m+ away with impunity.
That's not a risk/reward weapon by any means. |

Adaptation is the key to most of our problems. I feel like most of the weapons have a good balance with the exception of the sights on the LR. Replace the sights and maybe 10-15 more meters of range and it would be balanced. |

I'm sorry, but math is not an opinion. Neither is time. Both of these things are what makes shield tanks amazingly inferior to armor tanks. Something any HAV pilot is well aware of. |

It's not about getting kills, it's about the support functions. You can get more kills in its current state, but logistics players are having issues pushing back and disorienting enemies to revive downed allies (when it works) or flushing enemies out of CQC areas. This is without even factoring the desynch issues. |

You should have to use special grenades just to make a weapon worthwhile. |

It's an explosive weapon, by nature it's gonna deal crap damage to shields.
Kinda how a scrambler rifle flubs when it hits armor. It's simply inherent in the weapon. This is multiplied by the fact that everyone and their cousin uses CalLogi suits with seventy eight million shields. |

Yep, I used the Mass Driver in Chromosone as much as I do now in Uprising.
No need to push back and disorientate enemies when killing them is easier.
