Come on guys. Educated we are! We share tranquility with EVE, its only obvious this kind of thing would take place at some point. |

GET ATMESON wrote:Ignoble Son wrote:Man, this is bull****. I'm still trying to cap two character out. The servers have been down all weekend and now this bull****. WTF MAN! You might not cry over this if they do something for everyone for the problems this week. Go cap out in a day. You'll be better off. If you can't Cap in a day sounds like a personal problem. So QQ and get over it Agreed :-) |

KEROSIINI-TERO wrote:Carolyn Sicling wrote:Did CCP really only give Dust players 1 hour 18 minutes notice that they were going to extend downtime in this way?
Seriously, I expected the downtime to mirror Eve's, but when there was nothing in the forums last night at just before midnight I sort of hoped.... clearly not!
CCP - you guys really do need to work on your communications skills. For years Eve players have been telling you this, and now that you're venturing into the console market, you simpy can't afford to make basic errors like this.
On a lighter note - I am loving Dust 514, although it's still really only a Beta considering the number of bugs and amount of balancing needed, but it clearly has huge potential, so keep working hard at it. ...Except it has been hyped from Fanfest two months ago that Odyssey will be scheduled to be deployed June 4th. D'OH! Well said fellow Merc :-)

To be honest most of these complaints are valid but definitely put forward in the wrong thread. Come on guys we sound like a bunch of school kids ( no disrespect to school kids ) If you have submitted a re-spec request then sit tight, it will be done. CCP have given us what I believe is the best FPS out there for FREE and we are still not happy with the great customer service provided by CCP of which you wouldn't get from any other game developers, and trust me that is the truth. So zip it hang tight and enjoy the FREE yes FREE ride :-) |

N311V wrote:Does anyone know what happens with my active boosters during all this down time? Curious to know if the clock stops ticking during down time. Good question :-) although I would assume they pause during downtime but that's just an assumption I wouldn't be sure. As I'm sure CCP would have to have a similar action for EVE. |

Mastatii Gaterau wrote:We really in these forums should be complimenting CCP. And briefly mentioning complaints, instead of completely talking about how bad the game is. This is a truly amazing FPS, so start complimenting it instead of complaining about it. CCP has tried to please you, and worked very hard in order to do so. What you play now has been partly visioned by all of you mercs. This game can only get better and when it does you'll love the way it's put together, I agree totally :-) start thanking them for all the hard work they put into both Dust and EVE. Thanks is due. |

POCKPICKETER wrote:Dear players,
Due to technical issues from this weekend, the Templar Manhunt event was adversely impacted. Here's an update on the status of the Templar Manhunt:
It will end during downtime today Your Templar characters will be removed from your account if you were chosen to be a Templar
We realize that the server outage over the weekend has made participation in the event difficult and thus preventing players from reaching their event reward goals as templars/hunters. To rectify this, we are offerring the following to players who participated in the event:
All Templar players will receive their event rewards All players who scored at least one Templar kill from downtime Saturday June 1 through downtime on June 4 will qualify for the Templar hunter reward
We also received a lot of good feedback about the event itself (i.e. Templars should get some starting ISK, and slightly higher starting skill points), and will be updating the design of the event for the future. It is our goal to host another similar event for the player community in the near future and we would like to thank those who have participated in this event and hope to see you again soon.
So you are extended the Event but yet giving the event reward to everyone? what about the people who still did the event and got the 20,000 WP?
see compensated once again and all you girls do is *****. Get a job :-)
PS: a gallante event would be cool :-) just a thought as we are majority on DUST :-)
HooaH to CCP, Long Live Gallante and DUST 514
