Really? What part of "Dust 514 plays on the same servers as Eve Online." don't some of you people understand? They have to take the servers down to patch Eve so, naturally, Dust will be down as well.

I'm going to have to put this faux pas down to ignorance of how the system works. Otherwise I'm going to think very unkind things about some of the posters. LOL

This whole game was built to please network players. If you don't respect that CCP tried than try to realize the purpose of what your playing.

You know Panther you are doing a whole lot of whining about this game and how it shouldn't be on PS3 but I will bet you one thing right now, someone like you who is obviously so disgruntled about this game should take the one logical option available and just shut your pie hole and quit playing already. But I will bet you that when this server goes back online, you will have your happy little disgruntled rearend right in there with the rest of us mixing it up and having a good time killing the other mercs.

These guys are right, we should be complimenting CCP on the wonderful job they have done up to this point and realize that an undertaking like this is not easy and has never been done before. So be glad that you are part of something wonderful and unique and that you had some small part in making this game what it is and what it will become if you continue to offer CCP CONSTRUCTIVE feedback.

Oh and by the way, you think you have some keen perspective because you have been playing since Open Beta? Let me tell you something NOOB, I have been with this project since I was invited to participate in the CLOSED BETA and I'm sure I'm not one of the longer tenured players having been with it for a bit over a year now. When you open beta guys came along, we closed beta types had to start all over from scratch and for me that was over 4 million skill points lost but it was okay because we knew it was part of being in the closed beta project. You should see what the game was like then versus what it is now, you would keep quiet and have a whole new respect for what CCP has done!! So kick back, relax and enjoy watching this game become the greatest FPS ever made and realize that even though you are not happy at the moment, you have had a hand, whether large or small, in making this game what it is. Enjoy the fruits of your hard playing labors my friend.

This Oddysey expansion has only been in the works for 6 months.. I mean cmon , we knew it was hitting in june.. who gives a fk if ccp didnt reannounce it to you until a few hrs, atleast they did remind you.. And for those crying that they should play dust while eve is patched wtf pipe you smoking on, we are attatched to the same tranquility server and this is not a patch, it is an Expansion.. so hush now little baby don't you cry , in a few hrs ccp gonna let you buy, that little aur tank to fry, while I stand above you laughing as you die!

The sound, omg the sound! I wish it was still that intense, it's like being in a real war zone.. and the ballistics holy ****! And the missile trails, explosions.. the jet fighter.. damn you ps3!!! Pretty sure that was all done on pc using carbon.. which would probably melt the fk out of ps3

It kills me knowing this new expansion is out and my gaming pc is busted. I was waiting and waiting for this summer expansion lol, one night of drunken rage to me back to the stone age. All I have is a desktop that is slam full of **** running all day 24/7 , so that won't work and a laptop basically for web and office use, can barely even play a browser game on this lol.
