I use a mouse and keyboard. When I have two or more equipment modules and I am trying to select one of them, I will have my mouse completely still but it switches between the two extremely fast making it almost impossible to pick the one I want. When I highlight the other equipment (the one I don't want to use) it works normally.
This is the same with selecting modules in vehicles, something is not right with the mouse/keyboard.

Do you have a controller plugged in as well?
Sounds similar to the dual controllers problem. If you have two controllers plugged in, one just charging, the menus become non-functional. Basic the menu selector scrolls so fast you cannot do anything. Unplugging the second controller will solve that problem.
Which leads me to ask, how many USB devices have you got plugged in? If more than just two, try disabling ones that are not absolutely necessary.
Don't forget the Sony Wireless Headset is a certified problem generator. It is blue tooth and its use makes plugging the one DS3 in with a cable a requirement.
Plug and play. What a concept.

Having a controller plugged in when using kbm is essential. Unplugging it is not an option. Vehicles are impossible to drive using kbm and the in game map is impossible to navigate. Also, there is no way to select between spawn points using kbm. |

+1000 Are there no KB/M player at CCP? Setting orders and select equipment is nearly impossible and VERY frustating.

Hold down capslock (to bring up weapon select) then hit melee (Q key) to change from weapon wheel to command wheel. Middle mouse works as well as capslock. Took me ages to find this out too.

The Blue Module selection reticle jumps around like a twitchy speed freak in game. This also affects Squad orders, and selecting suit equipment and/or weapons while using the kb/M. |
