So...
Last week, I decided to throw some money down for a 7-day passive booster. Turns out, when they expire, your SP drop dramatically, and to get back the ones you got on the booster, you have to get another booster, or just wait out the amount of time it would have taken without one. Which kinda defeats the point of getting one. Unfortunately, it took me getting another one just now to find this out. Is there some fine print I'm missing? Seriously, I did look up the in-game description on the item and it says nothing about losing skill points when it expires. Nothing. A Google search might have turned up something, but I think it needs to be better explained in game if CCP insist on doing it this way.
Simply put, boosters aren't worth it unless you intend to keep using them constantly. CCP, I am disappoint it feels a little Incarna-ish this one, to be perfectly honest.
Just before someone jumps down my throat about this, I'm not complaining about features that are completely optional, I'm just pointing out that it's kinda sleazy not to note the 'drawbacks' of items that are paid for with hard earned money. |

I'm sorry, but I think I'm missing the point of what you're trying to say.
Without a passive booster you get 1 SP every 3.6 seconds. With a passive booster you get 1 SP every 2.4 seconds. Boosters only last for the amount of time that they specify (1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 30 days). You don't lose any SP, you just get a little extra for as long as the booster is activated. |

Umm try restarting your ps3. I had this problem too I believe. |

For those of you that are confused, let me explain.
With passive booster on, when I logged off last time, I had well over 30K unallocated SP (from memory), and the booster meant an accelerated rate of SP accrual.
Between then and now, the booster has expired, and when I logged on today, I had roughly ~1000 unallocated SP (just a little over).
Somewhere in there, over 20K unallocated SP have vanished.
The moment I applied a new booster, my unallocated SP jumped to 80K +
If you are still confused, please refrain from commenting lest you say something silly again, like suggesting I restart my PS3 after I only just turned it on |

If this is the case, how exactly do I submit a petition on this game? It's easy on EVE, done through the help options. Is it the same here? |

After I restarted it went back to normal. |

Also hit with the same bug this month. It really is a visual bug. Restarting put my total back to approximately where it should have been. No noticeable SP loss if any had happened. |

It's been logged in for barely 2 minutes, a fresh load onto the servers, and restarting is supposed to fix it?
I shouldn't have to restart a game to make it work properly... especially after it's just been started. |

Are you seriously trying to invalidate those that are trying to help? Get your head out of your arse you punk your obviously new here and don't know what's up or down. What about you listen to the guys that have actually been playing this game for more than a month, or at least try the suggested fix before running your mouth off. |

Go to the main Dust website and log in (https://dust514.com). Hover over your name and a drop down menu will appear. The submit ticket option should be there.
This is a bug and CCP are usually good at taking care of these sort of things. |

Invalidate? No. Clarify? Yes. I have been playing for more than a month. I've been playing since closed beta. This is the first time I've used a passive booster is all. Running my mouth off? I dunno... I don't remember flinging around as many angry invectives as you just did. Calm down, kiddo. I tried restarting the PS3 anyway and took note of the SP before and after the restart. There was no change, as I suspected.
Then I merely pointed out that if a game needs to be restarted after only being on for two minutes in order to function properly, then it is probably not functioning properly.
Go take a nap. You'll feel better. |

The convenience of the matter at hand is not the issue. If functionality requires a work-around, then it is not functioning properly. |
